dood,

a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)
b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
c. Measurements of cap and stem.
d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
f. Spore print color (very important!)
g. Color that the mushroom bruises
h. Scent of mushroom

follow these rules

Washington State, Grass (I was at a park and saw it in the grass)
Gills are light brown
Stem is about 2.5-3", cap is about 2"-2.25" big
Stem is whitish brown (not light brown), hollow i believe. thin stem.
Dark brown cap (looks like it has a nipple on the top), smooth texture
Didn't drop spores that i know of
Didn't bruise
Hard to smell

detach the cap from the stem and place the cap on a notecard over night. Remove cap after 24 hours and observe color of spore print. A sporeprint is highly important in the identification of a mushroom.

well is there any active mushrooms that fit my description with a certain spore print colour. that way when I determine it, I'll match it to possible results because i discarded the mushroom and I will go tommorow to pick another

That's a terrible way to determine the color, you're going into it completely biased trying to make the color you have meet your needs. Just like in your last thread where you say the spore color is "brown but almost black" hoping it might be Pan Subbs where it is rather obvious the color is brown. Spore print color should be determined from what you see, not what you hope to see.
As for that mushroom there I would guess an Agrocybe, was it within a couple feet of mulch/flower bed area.

Peace - @cro

Go find some fresh specimens and put the caps on white paper with a drinking glass to keep the moisture up. If the gills become to dry they will not drop spores. From the pictures it kinda looks promising but of course you gotta bear in mind its summer which is basically not psilocybe season.
