how to anonymize images for shroomery?

Could anyone please give me some pointers on how to best remove metadata from images so I could show my first little bulk grow :laugh:

?

Which steps would be necessary on my part to post images safely to the shroomery?

Upload the pictures here and the EXIF data gets stripped.

If one posted a photo on shroomery and posted the same photo on another website/platform (say facebook/instagram/reddit), can a reverse image search connect the 2 based on the photo even though the exif. data is stripped? Wasn't aware if image comparison algorithms are that dialed in or not. :shrug:

Image comparison tools don't need EXIF data to match the images. From a picture someone posted here, I was able to find the same picture hosted on the manufacturer's website. Don't share media that may contain illegal activities on public social media.
