Don't read too much into things. More often than not things are more simple than you're making them out to be or can just be accepted the way they are. Life's stressful enough, don't add to it by trying to read between the lines of every scenario.

These are your friends:

everybody needs a pair.

What you see are a pair of 1kg/2.2lbs dumbbell weights to add a bit more weight to your hands while exercising for speed, endurance or injury recovery. A whole host of singlehanded tools you could use, a hammer, a sword, a bottle, a pistol weigh in the vicinity of that weight. If you are quick and agile with a kg, you gain proficiency on wielding all these tools. The older you get, the more significant those kilos get.

Any time I see one of those I always think of the South Park episode where they had the shakeweights and it would squirt on your face when your workout is over and give you some change for cab fare lol

You should start fasting and doing one meal a day, thats going to have the greatest effect on your weight loss. I saw a guy who lost 300 pounds in 1 year doing regular fasting and one meal per day

Fasting sucks, carnivore is more sustainable IME, done both, id go back to carnivore in a second, fasting is a little weird

Theres zerocarb and carnivore subreddits, the user on reddit elenorina is very knowledgeable on the topic

Yeah but for extreme health correction, id say fasting in low or zero carb is ideal

Not 100% fasting , i mean intermittent. Or simply just 1 meal per day

My wife and I are about to start Keto to try and lose some weight. I'm also about to give up drinking for 30 days for weight loss and other reasons.

I was on Paleo for about 18 months and it was the best I ever felt, plus it's a sustainable diet.

Yeah, I shouldnt have said fasting sucks, I took it to extremes, and I couldnt imagine doing it eating carbs, would be torture, on carnivore you fall into a natural fasting rythm after a time, id usually eat two meals per day, but sometimes id notice its like 7pm and I havnt eaten anything yet, and would be like damn, I have to get in a meal

Perhaps but if the person saying this is benefitting from your success (e.g. your boss / your team manager), walk away, this person is trying to manipulate you for their own gain. The true reason you are failing is because you are either inexperienced or you're doing something where success is as rare as winning main prize in lottery. Normal jobs and normal hobbies involve regular successes, not just struggle. People who say you have to try harder / believe harder but at the same time hope to benefit from your success are not people you should listen to. Learned the hard way.

Its better to rent a very cheap place for a while and save enogh money to buy a house full in cash mortgage free

Whether mortgage is better or not depends mathematically on:
* rent prices
* mortgage interest rates (they vary a lot)
* when do you need to move
* when  will you stop being able to pay the mortgage because too old

Without knowing these things, it's impossible to give one right answer. Where I'm from, the numbers are currently such that  mortgage is financially better than collecting the money and then paying it in one go, because mortgage rates are very low and you'll make more money investing the savings in any reasonable way.

Heck, they even say that if you get the money suddenly, don't pay off the mortgage, it's not worth it (unless it's a stress source for you). But it all depends on math, no one answer.

The person saying why you're wrong is helping you. The person overflowing you with positive feedback for no appearent reason is often up to something.
