Okay I'm going to make some little shrooms chocolates. What if I did 1:1 dry weigh to chocolate weight? The molds are small. Like half inch give or take
Any tips?

probably wont mix easily at that ratio. You'd need one of those heated chocolate mixers (melanger?) probably.

I mean if it didn't I could add more chocolate. Going to blend it really fine. Wondering if maybe someone tried and it like just crumbled after forming or something.. idk I feel like the powder should absorb the chocolate a little, I mean the choco has some moisture in it. Really just trying to hold some longer and I'm thinking this will keep the potency. Idk worsted case scenario I remelt it..?

you'll see haha
Mixing powder cellulose into choclate is hard. Mixing anything into chocolate is hard.
Chocolate itself is a complicated art with tempering and all kinds of weird shit to do with moisture level.
I think 1:4 works pretty good.

That's the ratio I found as well that works. It's like a king size Hershey's bar worth for a good dose
Gummies are more efficient but degrade faster

I can promise you that putting 1 gram of powder to 6 grams of chocolate doesn't work too well. Half a gram to six grams is about as thick as I like to make it.

Temper your chocolate properly. Use a hand mixer.

one part powered shrooms, two parts cocoa butter, two parts dark choc. heat shrooms and butter at 175* with a double boiler for two hours. let temp drop to 100* then add chocolate. mix well and pour into molds.

I do. Are you saying you've put 1 gram powder into 6 grams chocolate without it becoming unpourable (or the same ratio in different volumes)? To be honest, I didn't make those but did walk in on a friend who was making them for me... So I can't promise he tempered properly.

Ok I see what the challenge is! I guess I would reccomend making your own chocolate from scratch. A little cocoa powder, mostly cocoa butter, some suger, and mush. Toss some rue in while you're at it.
Also if you're gonna work with premade chocolate then a blend of white and dark may help.

One could, put some chocolate on the bottom of an ice cube tray. Weigh out all your doses, something like 1.5 grams is good per cube. And add on top of your first half of chocolate and mix it in with a toothpick. Then add a little bit more chocolate on top and stir with a toothpick again.
If your chocolate starts to get dry and hard to work with you can add a tiny(TINY) amount of water. And it will be more manageable. The ones that you add water to will be more like fudge or softer chocolate.

I drank a few weeks ago at a show and regretted it like immediately. Nasty canned IPAs and I shut down some single mom who smelled my vape like stranger danger! I'm gonna stay away from alcohol for the most part although I buy hundreds of dollars on specialty bourbon semi-regularly
Enjoil that is terrible advice with the water, straight ran off a cliff right there. Gonna fuck up the chocolate and the mush bad. Adding some sweetened condensed milk would be safe. Otherwise I dig the tray method, but silicone molds would be better. Got fun shapes n stuff at micheals plus deals and rewards.

Actually bro. You should try it before you knock it. The guys who ate those ones said they were better than the other ones. He specifically said there were two that were like fudge. And I know which two those were, the Last ones that were made and the chocolate in the double boiler was getting hard.
Whatever. Blah blah. I tried to help.

Been meaning to do a chocolate write up.
There is a tool that some of us already have and it really helps out. One of those ninja Blenders with the blades the whole way down. It allows one to turn chocolate chips into chocolate powder. Usually a normal blender creates too much heat. These ninja blenders distribute the friction evenly and it doesn't melt the chocolate.
I pulverize the mushies into flour, then add chocolate chips, turn the whole thing to flour.
Put into a ziplock bag and dip into water at 110f for 40 minutes or so.
Cut the corner of the bag.... squeeze into molds.
I've been able to get much higher ratios of mushrooms to chocolate this way.

I like that. Although I might be able to mix better in another container

I used to temper properly but compared to letting it cool to 80f at room temp then pop it in the fridge, I couldn't tell the difference.
And there is no 'mixing' The powders are already mixed. the bag works great.
