First time going to grain at all, went from agar using selections from my 1st transfer plates after I had taken samples for my T2s. Not really expecting much but seems be working. The first pic is 72hrs from inoculation the 2nd is 96hrs nd it seems to move quite quickly.
Just a thought but I have these in a box to keep em free of contam, just a big tub, I haven't opened this since I knocked up and popped em in which 5days now, will I need to crack it for fae?

Yeah its the cup winner.
They really are a total bitch to harvest. Trying to keep your substrate in tact is nearly impossible. Only reason I am growing it is simply because it is supposed to be so strong.

update on these melmaks- spawned on 10/15. tubs seem to have some promising clone candidates so far, and easily among the fastest to get this far in 2 weeks, personally speaking.

My first shoebox harvest! Two Pink Buffalo and one AA+.

I took two samples from two mushrooms from each tub. I picked the biggest mushroom in a good size cluster from the Pink Buffalos and the two biggest AA+.

All three have nice solid stipes! No straws here! They all felt very dense and heavy. The AA+ has a super strong mushroom smell!

Re: super wet coir.
I was trying out this Humidity Chamber Tek: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/25339094/vc/1
It's my first go so still figuring out how I want to fruit. Might still turn these into SGFC but this seemed a simple way to get going.
