Possible Psilocybe apelliculosa 2

I received these photos from a friend. I believe they might be Psilocybe apelliculosa but I'm looking for second opinions. She is a seasoned lib hunter and insists none of them have pellicles including the one that looks like a lib. Found in Ireland, among long grass and Juncaceae plants. Horse and sheep pasture.

Description for Psilocybe apelliculosa
If that is what they are, it would be a rare find indeed. Only 6 records in the UK in about 60 or so years since they were first described, and a first for Ireland.

I'm not sure if Hypholoma can be ruled out, but they have characteristics like Psilocybe sp.

Me neither. They look very similar to other posts we've seen where you thought hypholoma. Could be a good year for that species

So I found these today growing in a pasture where sheep and horses were grazing. They feel psilocybe when handled, only thing that's missing is a pellicle, on every one of them. Growing in rushes and long grass among and around semilanceata

If you can go back to the location and see if you can find any more - is there any moss around the base of the stems?

I will go back this week. It wasn't a mossy type of habitiat. Thick, dense grass & lots of rushes. I'll upload habitat pics tomorrow

Looks like Deconica or Psilocybe to me, but if you say there's no separable gelatinuos layer then that's a bit weird. Can you send for microscopy? I'll send you a private message.

Of course! You're ruling out hypholoma?

IDK, some of them look like Hypholoma udum or Hypholoma ericaeum but they grow on moss.
But these don't look like Hypholoma...

And these look like two different species...

Those are the same mushrooms, only difference is the latter are photographed indoors & are drying

The one with the heavy black margin on its side that's the image of a lib had no pellicle either. I'm well accustomed to checking a cap for same

I don’t think I have ever been in a habit like this that wasn’tcaroeted in moss beneath the grasses, sedges, weeds and other small herbaceous plants. I think at least most, probably all are Hypholoma ericoides. Which is pretty rare, mostly known from England and Scotland, as far as I can tell, iNaturalist has 0 observations, so that’s something.
