 piss poor drying results

I took a 255 gram wet harvest and after drying I only have 17.5 grams...... I feel really jipped. I figured it would be right around 25g.... Where did my other 1/4 go? Has anybody ever gotten such a low result when drying?
Maybe its because some of them were smaller... About half were 6g wet or more but quite a few were around the 2g range.

The 90% water isn't an exact figure, it's a rough estimate. That's not too bad of an end result, espescially if it's for personal use.

from what ive seen on average 12 quart fruits, you usually come out with about an .oz in the end result after the drying process, thats why it is good to make 3 batches at the same time to come up with better yields, i say their is no point unless your making 36 or more fruits.
If your growing for personal use i guess it may be OK... but for selling purposes i would think it is more profitable to just make spore syringes and resell them to local hemp stores like THC ect... and work up a local distributor status for local stores around you...
... if you work it out, to make a syringe you may be able to sell for 10$ in bulk to stores, all it takes is 1 cap(which can be reused) and a cheap syringe, and an easy 30 mins of time and experience...

The number of frits cannot be used to tell an average as far weight goes. There are TOO MANY determining factors when it comes to fruit size. I could do 12 quarts of the shittiest substrate around and come out with a piss poor yield.

well I am about to harvest again, lets see how they turn out. brf pints colonized to small cat pans. Bottom layer 1" 50/50 plus (verm/peat/cr oys shell/calc carb), then 1 pint cake crumbled, then 1-2" 50/50 plus. they are potent though. 2.5g gives slight visuals and a great buzz.... taking 3.5 next time. they are golden teacher and hawaiian.
the ratio was 94% h20, 6% edible...... piss poor.... I will post my next harvest in a few days. I have 9 casings and they seem to go on and off (lik 4 will fruit one week then the others the next week) I like having a lot of casings, casings are fun. I dont know if I will go bulk I will just improve my casings. Right now they are doing ok but I would like them to look like some of you guys' casings....... I will add some pictures here later. One of the mushies was huge but it bumped the side of the catpan (wich is lipped) and the cap is growing all mutated. 3 of the casings had to have the sides chopped because of all kinds of mushies growing from the sides of the casings. I already foiled them all and such but we will see.

well that does make sense, but really it is all equal then, with higher humidity=faster production but water weight is allot, and lower humidity=slower but mature growth with denser dry weight

I see so I just need to grow more is what u guys r saying just harvested.... 102g wet off 1 case.... the other 8 are looking good. the 2 I harvested before are pinning again and 3 are near harvest. The others are all pinning I just put in 4 bowl casings as well (very small) and I expect those will pin soon as they were in an incubator.
