Fruiting Temp.
    #2750624 - 05/31/04 08:38 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Keeping the temp down at the only location where I can fruit my cakes and casings has been a problem. Usually runs in the upper 70's to mid 80's. Can you still fruit at this temp. with EQ strain? I have read from some sources that EQ's are such an easy strain to grow that they will fruit in those ranges.

So there shouldn't be a need for cold shocking?

Ive never had them but I've heard pretty potent and very visual. Big friggen fruits too. Check out the grow log forum and post She Said It Was Huge.

You could always cold shock..I mean cant hurt (as long as you keep it good and clean when it goes in the fridge, nasty varmits in there). On another thread I believe Magash said he does it between every flush..

That has nothing to do with cold shocking.

Cold shocking helps cakes to pin a little faster

I`ve been an EQ fan for the longest time now but some Burmas i just grew got several rave reviews from friends as far as potency...My EQ`s are still one of my favorites but my Burmas gave me a bunch of 30+ wetgm fruits using good old popcorn...
