Hey, I tried that once and it only cost me like 35 bucks a month, but of course I sold a few to cover the cost so it was like free. it's not a bad ideal. ARE, you could find a friend you could trust and grow it at their house. (as long as they don't eat em as fast as they grow ha ha)

If you have a headboard at the end of you bed you can usually grow right under them. Just scoot your bed back and take a look, mine has tons of room under it. I could fit a 10 gallon tank there with a light above it and no one would ever notice. Mine is great because I can stick the flouro up inside at the top and light only shines in the terrarium. Just toss a few clothes, boxes etc. under your bed to block it out from prying eyes and your set.

could you post the addresses of some of the suppliers? i always wanted to get into growing mushies i can't eat,lol, i mean enjoy with my family, i mean not tripping.

Get started for 20 bucks or so. I have Gourmet & Mushroom Products Shiitake and Oyster Logs growing in front of me right now. Also have their Morel habitat kit that I plan on trying in the back yard as soon as the ground is workable.

amdhacker knows whats up. It's just too difficult to have a good setup while worrying about it being discovered. I've found that oyster mushrooms are very easy to grow, and as long as i keep serving them up once in a while, my family doesn't give a rats ass "what the hell that boy's doing"
besides, gourmet mushrooms taste soooooo good.
