Re-listening to Victor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning because some idiot said she got the dark mar tattoed from the harry potter books because she's "basically in agreement with hitler" and when I offered her a book to read about it she told me "No, I don't want to hate humanity more", like wtf? You're a Mexican woman who works as a cashier, you'd be one of the first in the ovens because everyone here is so mixed race, god damn.

The Tresspasser by Tana French. With the death of John Lecarre and my having already read his best books way too many times, she's turned into my favorite author. Also because James Ellroy and Dennis Lehane seem to be slumping.

I finished the Wheel of Time series about a month or so ago. I loved it! It's long though (15 books) so it takes quite a while. To me it was worth it though, great characters and interesting story, well written. They're coming out with the show in November, so now is a great time to start the books if you want

Nice, I read some mixed reviews on it where some people compared it to a tolkien knock off, was gifted the first 3 books by my aunt. Her and her husband both enjoyed the series and are also tolkien and fantasy / sci fi fans.

Will see if I can't get into it

I get bored quickly

It's great  it's my 2nd read of it, the root text is fairly short and then it has a thorough commentary. Quite a good overview of the teachings on Buddha Nature
