I’ve learned to live with it. I was trying to find out the name of some device being used for communication in hospital settings that are like the comm badges in startrek.

today fucking sucked though to be quite honest

the hospital is full of traveler/contractor staff and the women under 30 (which is like half of the employees) just cant get their fill of talking shit about these people

"THEY MAKE MORE MONEY THAN ME WHY SHOULD I ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS ABOUT WHERE THE BASIC SUPPLIES NEEDED TO SAVE PATIENT LIVES ARE??"

Dont you think its weird where people think that just cause they're on the clock they HAVE to do everything asked of them. And the vice versa too, I'm paying you, so you have to do everything we say.

thats not how my job works

I am licensed by the state and answerable to the licensing board. I have to do everything THEY say. My bosses do too- as well as everything the other regulatory agencies that could strip their licenses away.

its a work requirement that would get you stripped of your license if you don't tell someone where the supplies are? try the door labeled supplies?

for instance, if someone who was my superior but constantly getting in the way and asking for stupid help, I would at a certain point stop helping that person, but saying: No, you will figure it out yourself. I'm not talking about the overtime shit.

I guess, since I know nothing about how hospitals work, travel nurses get paid more despite being equal, hence the animosity. I assumed since they got paid more, they were higher in the hierarchy, like a detail in the government. But I can tell by your condescension I was wrong.

Right now I manage a research farm for a University and I used to be a wild lands firefighter. I'd rather get jammed up then do stupid shit anymore.
