Lots of this today, left empty handed though. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. Oh and always remember, if you have to reassure yourself multiple times you can jump the creek…. You probably can’t jump the creek

I've heard they're 2x as strong as cubes and way more visual. Maybe someone with more experience with these can speak up. I've been curious fresh vs dry. So far I've been collecting prints from all of them and then in the dehydrator they go. They're practically weightless when dried which has me wondering how to accurately dose as well.
Yes! These things are great! Level 3/4 (wet) was about a palm full. I'm sorry, I'm trying to remember in grams, but imagine your average single cope at 4 to 5 inches long with an 1 inch to 1.5 in diameter cap. Take 6 of those and it's pretty level 4ish. Very thought provoking and visual.

Yeah my usual dose for these is around 4 or 5 wet mushrooms to get to a high level 2/low 3. I feel like they lose ALOT of the magic though when they dry.

Road poaching works sometimes but is very sketchy. I know there were more where I found this monster, but too sketch to keep looking while being parked on the side of the road.

Nice one. I actually tried road poaching today too. Habitat matched but no dice.

Just when I thought I wasn't going to see any today I happened upon this hombre. He was hiding pretty well in a thick clump of grass.

Haha Hakr I see what you mean. I decided to investigate further. Indeed it had merged with the grass. Then I merged as well.
Found one in that same spot today that I must have missed yesterday. It was too far gone to photo. The nice weather seems to have halted the flushing

shyiit my super mario bros, i was re-reading through the 2017 thread (year of the cham) hoping to brush up on some knowledge and borrow a little luck and that shit came through my dawgz sorry not in situ, it was drizzling so i left my phone in the car. there were only 2 but i think this spot may be puttin up some fruits for me!

they were a couple feet from a sidewalk in some of that dark green grass, bermuda i think, under a row of some kind of ornamental trees providing total shade, i dont think the area is irrigated and the land is surprisingly flat. although the ground next to them was recently disturbed they were fruiting out of the undisturbed part of it but im sure its because of the disturbance a few feet away that they popped up

THATS WHATS UP!!!
Man I know this is just a forum of "strangers" but man I honestly miss the OGs. I miss docG giving advice and being like that cool uncle, and Cham for his awesome finds. Some of the OGs have stuck around but at least we're all still here paving the way for the next group of GA psychonaughts

Found this last week after the big rain. First woodland weilii, found on a sewer cut that had just been cut down.

Thats why you take pictures, post them in your own i.d thread. If you find the right ones, go back then pick them. Dont just pick a bunch of randos and post them.

Comparing the areas I hunt to the ones described/pictured in posts by you folks and on the guides, I'm increasingly confused as to why I've never come across a single weilii in the 4 and some odd years I've been back in Georgia hunting.
When proper weather conditions arise I hunt a minimum of 10-15 hours per week, even checking some spots I've been told were active areas, to no avail. Am I simply cursed? Lol
During season I have frequent dreams of finding mushrooms. This used to happen in SF and I could pretty reliably go out the next day and happen across many cyanescens/new patches. It felt like a fungi calling card, and made the hunt much more intuitive.
I have a good relationship with mushrooms/nature/dmt/cactus/myself, but for whatever reason It feels strongly as though I'm being shunned by weilii..
I know people will say to just keep going out there, but at this point I can spend an 8 hour day hunting prime habitats all over the known producing counties and come up empty handed with an empty gas tank.
My question is, has anyone else spent 4+ years hunting 10-20 hours per week in prime habitat during season and never found any weilii? I've found lookalikes and virtually every other mushroom that shares the habitat, but no dice on this one particular mushroom.
It's frustrating to say the least, so I guess I'm just kinda looking for guidance on what I could be doing wrong, cause I know I'm looking in the right areas at the right time with the right intention and persistence.
