About to sterilise V-Tek invitro jars. Debating 2 piece ring with lid flipped or plastic one pieces slightly loosened. Contam is my main concern, as I'm going for clean af prints.

Ora said: huh initial testing from a couple people of my GT and APE say they experienced more of a body high and slight dizzyness from lower doses sub 1g. they said their previous experiences they got more of a "head high" and they didnt have this dizzyness/body high. they dont know anything about varieties its just whatever others gave them.
i capped some APE in size 0 caps at 180mg each and they produce way more of an effect than microdose level haha. i dont have smaller caps and these are too strong. or i just need to cut it with something to dilute it i guess.
anyway whats your guys' experience?
Lol you could always just fill the cap halfway.
There’s definitely different body loads and mental effects from each batch. Just gotta find a good one and keep it.

I use one of those capsule filler machines so it's hard to only fill it half way and get consistent doses. Right now I fill it and use the card scrapper to get rid of the excess without tamping anything down and it works to 180mg pretty consistently. I can't imagine filling each cap individually. Just making like 100 caps takes me an hour and half.
Would you separate by each flush or by each shoebox?

To fill your capsules try adding filler to your filling, just like the pros.

I just make them when I want to dose. But if I were making a lot I would blend them all together really well first.
You could cut it with lions mane powder that’s supposed to go well with cubes/microdoses

Lions mane is exactly what I use as filler/supplement. I dry and weigh each to get the ratio I want and then blend them together in a Ninja Bullet. I use a capsule machine and compacting tool to get pretty close to 0.5g per 00 capsule.

Edit to add links to tools I use.

yeah im gonna cut them with some herb powders, not sure what yet though, maybe ashwaghanda or just collagen powder. i have lions mane in capsules already that im gonna combo with psilocybin for sure.
i got something similar to that capsule machine but its 24 caps so its a pain to do a lot. i ordered https://www.ebay.com/itm/274463886127?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160727114228%26meid%3D725e4685e3de4abaaaa35f0a9b8a2d9a%26pid%3D100290%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D274463886127%26itm%3D274463886127%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2060778&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507 , well a cheaper variation since theres like a million sellers on ebay of this product. apparently you dont need to physically insert the capsules, you just split the caps, then throw them on and shake em and they land in the slots by themselves. i saw a vid on youtube and it feels like it could save time

Ora said: usually they use this blue colored silicon liner. isnt silicon really high temp resistant? my sparkling water lids are like that too and when i shake it nothing leaks. if plastic mason jar lids work i dont see why this wont.
Late to the party but it's actually pretty easy to remove the blue silicon liner on the cap. 1L Heinz vinegar bottles are all I've ever used for pouring agar, I imagine it'd be great for LC too. Just soften the silicone by simmering the cap in boiling water for a bit then use a knife or something like that to peel it off. Might be a bit messy but it's not hard to get it all off.
Made the mistake of PCing it with the silicone still there the first time I ran them and they melted on the SFD but no problems since I removed it, super reliable with a hole drilled into the cap and a SFD cut to size.
Don't know why I didn't think of using them for LC, might go buy a bunch today.

Bought 5kg of wbs to see if my mad corn prep skill had carried over to wbs
Big problemos esse. Cant get rid of the starch easily. Wbs jars turn into stick together chunks
Just found 14 jars like 100% contam rate, pure wbs grain jara
All from same pc cycle and times that work for corn 80-90% reliably
Back to corn, grownup grains are too hard, even rye is easier just really annoying to hydrate compared to corn
Never reach for the stars bois stay in your lane
Back to corn, loser!
One possible culprit: do i need to strain wbs like ALOT? How do i avoid wbs glued together? Lower heat, cold soak huh?
I strained once or twice until water was clear, boiled em some, dried long, still ended up with glue

I’ve never cooked wbs, just soak it for 15-24 hours then dump it on a screen for a couple hours.

I can't remember the exact thread I read about concerning this, but if I recall it says to simmer for 20-30 only to avoid actually cooking them.
I'm currently trying to figure out the best way myself.
I'm still not sure if I got it right or not, but I know when I did straight millet to the PC directly they all stalled. I think they may have been too wet.
Anyone have any opinions on this WBS run through?

What the fuck are you kidding me
I am not supposed to heat it??!
Omg total douchenoobcake mistake
Edit: and then comes the simmer post
heat releases the starch, long soak will penetrate the grains of wbs?? if i use heat it will need to be short?
