Active or not?
    #2746279 - 05/30/04 12:20 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Hey everyone, I went for a trip north this weekend in Michigan about mid day / sunny, growing in groups around tall grass. And I discovred a few mushrooms, the caps are creme/white in color. The stem length is about 2-4inches. And about a 1/2inch down from the cap there seems to be a ripple of skin from the mushroom, the stem is not hollow. The pictures are about 1 day old. If you guys need more info let me know. Thanks all.

I think the question you should be asking here is "deadly or not?"

They look very much like Galerina autumnalis... definately not active, probably deadly. Toss it.
