Has anyone else ever thought about how it is totally impractical to be pragmatic in our society? It's like it does us good to have stubborn, ridiculous, impheasable beliefs and practices.

No, see that's a contradiction. If it's ultimately impracticle, then how can it simultaneously be practical?

My thinking was that people seem to be drawn to people with crazy ideas and beliefs. They don't seem to dig level headed people. Do you think Rush Limbaugh or Michael Moore would have an audience if they were pragmatic?

huh?

michael moore is a total pragmatist. You cant pull off film productions without pragmatism, first off, he rabidly attacks transnational globo media corps, and then goes and gets funded by one!!!!

thats pragmatism at its finest.

he also sacrifices journalistic integrity in order to promote his own beliefs, pure pragmatism.
