Is it worth transfering from bac contam if the plate has a little moving water in it from condensation?
This is a t3 plate i Suspect my sterile tek wasnt on point. My other t3 show no sign of contam. Is it worth the troubles or should i just focus on my other plates? I really hate to abandon my babies

Right around 2'o clock
Has doubled in size from yesterday btw...looks like snot

you could try just to see. as long as the water isnβt swirling around on the bacteria & then into the myc you should be fine- agar is all about isolating away from contams. if you have the same strain on all your plates, or have another clean plate of this strain, iβd just take an extra transfer from that plate & grow it out. but if you just wanna see how it goes & how cleaning up agar goes, or if you only have that one plate of the strain, i say take a transfer & see. you should know really quick if it was bacterial

Meh after much thought. Since i do have clean plates . im just gonna focus on those for now. I really need to fix my condensation problem though its pretty intense. I ve been pouring at 117f but i still get condensation. I did the hot mug thing my last sleeve and it def did help a bit

condensation isnβt really a huge issue aside from visibility, so donβt worry about it affecting much. usually it clears up on its own. i think you can leave the plates unwrapped in the SAB or in front of a flow hood for awhile to dry out
