Honest talk about Steroids ---- Weightlifters / bodybuilders only please

I've been clean hitting the gym for about 4 years now. I am very seriously considering getting on T. Or at the very least going to a male clinic and trying to get on TRT.
I've heard a lot about how "T wont make you big. You still have to put in work." But from all my research it seems to point to vastly faster recovery time, more muscle growth, more motivation and even combats depression.
The negatives do not seem to be significant at all. Going on a lower dose and just needing to maintain for the rest of your life on TRT. And the risk of overdoing it once you get a taste for it.
At what point is it foolish to put chemicals in your body...... vs using the technological advances of the day and being a 21 year old for more of your life?
Want honest replies here.

I've looked into it, Id rather low dose hgh but testosterone is pretty great! I take Himalaya Ashwaganha and definitely notice a great test boost when I need to get aggressive, most of what I've read in test forums said ideally you'd already wanna be muscular naturally and big on lifting otherwise you'll just lose your gains pretty quickly and of course you lose the water, an old buddy ran a cycle of one of the oral ones probably Winny but he didn't really have the drive to stick it out in the gym and wound up with stretched out skin

If you want to produce more testosterone you should be taking more zinc. Every man that I've ever seen who has been on steroids has this extremely unnatural look to himself. Like his muscles just look unnaturally big. I can always tell who takes steroids and who doesn't. The ones who don't are actually hot because their bodies look natural.
Also steroids make your penis and testicles smaller and it does not reverse when you stop taking them. It can also make you extremely agitated and fuck with your mental health.

Steroids are for ego. There's no point unless you're the type of person who buys an expensive car so they can feel like they are superior to others, or you're an athlete who has millions of dollars on the line. Or you have a medical condition. If you are dedicated to progress then just accept that it will take time. If you're ugly or feel you need attention, then sure. Go ahead. But I assure you nobody cares about the size of your muscles or the numbers you pull. You shouldn't either. Just be the best you and enjoy the health benefits that come with it. If you want to stay young then maintain a healthy amount of cardiovascular strength, and remember your joints and tendons need care as well as your heart and muscles. That will keep you young. Not steroids. It is kind of sad that you so flippantly address a lifelong dependency as a minor detail. That is you exhibiting bias before you've even begun the conversation.

I do not recommend any type of steroid unless you have back pain or some other type of ailment that steroids are known to be an effective treatment.
I've done a few cycles and I have seen the results of use and abuse.
If you are not already working out all the time and are already in good shape the steroids won't do much for you anyway.
A person I know who is not a very big guy got heavy into working out but he just isn't that big of a guy, so he started getting the juice to help him bulk up, he was already in good shape, but couldn't gain any muscle mass, the juice worked great for him and he put on pounds of muscle every week while he was juicing. He kept trying to go off the juice and maintain his weight/muscle mass, but he just could do it. One week of not juicing and this guy just started deflating like an air balloon, he worked out constantly, but when he didn't juice he couldn't lift as much and would slim down. He juiced for about a year continually and got really big, and when he went off the juice it wasn't a month and he was back to his skinny little self, he eventually gave up working out and decided to just drink every day instead.
Also you want injectable steroids over pills, the pills will destroy your liver.

Are you weight lifting for health, or for looks? Steroids are disastrous for your health, but they can make you look like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime. They dramatically increase the risk for cardio vascular disease, heart attack, and stroke even long after you stop taking them. Not to mention the psychological effects of steroids like increased aggression.
So if you care about your health then you shouldn't take them. Even Schwarzenegger had to have a triple bypass. But if you care more about your looks then steroids are how people get looks like that, there's no other way. You'll still have to eat right and exercise as much as you can, and you'll need estrogen blockers, etc. If you do end up taking them, don't waste them, work out as hard as you physically can (and then some) while you're on them.
To anyone reading this who hasn't been exercising at a serious level for 4 years: you only get a benefit from steroids if you have been doing it at a serious level for that kind of time.

Dude: Give Ashwaghanda a chance, and by a chance i mean at least 6 months of use.
A herb that improvesyoyur natural testosterone production.
If you inject testosterone on the longer term you might as well nail your testicles to the seat of your chair.
Its better to improve the functioning of what you biologically have, than to diminish it s function by flooding your body with an excess of what its supposed to make.

There's a lot of men out there on TRT, it's not the end of the world.
Low Testosterone is an increasing condition in males, so I see no harm in addressing a medical condition.

OP's talking about wrecking his testicles so he needs TRT for life.. for gains!
Its not the end of the world to have your testicles malfunction.. but to opt for it?

imho, they mainly result in a more-appealing distribution of water, between tissues.
I have seen it give tiny guys a very nice looking composition, but never, ever any examples of bulk, beyond your natural, genetic capabilities.
There is a fattening kind of stage to body building, an a starvation stage, for presentation. You will make yourself incredibly sick, trying to look show-presentable, full time.

Guys worried about shrinkage and growth, where did it come from? A positive feedback loop or a negative feedback loop. Testosterone levels have increased, several times over, from strenuous use of a treadmill. Development or atrophy?
Many low-T guys could benefit -- at least, within your genetic capabilities -- from as much keto foods as you can physically process (and no more) and as heavy lifting as you physically recuperate-from (and no more). If you're more adaptable to calisthenics, follow that to your genetic limits (and no more).
You will not look like Shrek but an improved vision of yourself.
Follow some wrestlers or body builders, online. It's been around, long enough, that you can see the arc of their entire career. If you have their same height and build, most will look passably-normal, standing right next to you.
Steroids are for pre-show.

I took Test E during quarantine. I got pretty big... Definitely look into PCT (post cycle therapy) once your cycle is over. I didn't know you needed to do that and I scrambled to find the pills online form some Indian pharmacy. They're pretty cheap. I forget the names of them but there were 2. Once is an anti breast cancer drug and the other is something similar; I've read that your hormones won't be right again for upwards of a year if you just come straight off of Test.
Your balls will shrink, don't be alarmed Your body senses that it already has more than enough Test so it tells your nuts to take a vacation. Mine shrank by about 35%, I was feeling them one day and I'm like HOLY SHIT! I thought that only happened to hardcore users.
Would I do it again? Yeah. I'd make sure to have my PCT lined up and ready to go, though. Look into anti estrogen during your cycle too, if you're prone to gynecomastia (as I am), there's a good chance you'll start developing more breast tissue, and the only cure is surgery.
Do your homework before fucking with your hormones.

Clomid and Nolvax?
Seriously, you gort lucky running out of test with no PCT.
How could you miss it? Every source echoes that you should do that.

Yes! Those. I was dumb, didn't do my homework. My upstairs neighbor was into it and offered me a vial and I said fuck itm why not. The world was ending so I might as well lol.
I definitely got lucky.
In my mind, I thought ok, you do your injections, work hard af, then to not lose gains you just keep working hard af after.
Next time I'd also like to do a blood panel so I know exactly what my T levels are.

TRT is great for anyone over 35
if your going to use PED's just be honest with your doctor and get you blood checked every month or even two weeks
full CBC
Testosterone levels as well as other hormones
your doctor wont turn you in and if they are a good doctor will help you as much s they can with in the law.

I used test and once deca for three long cycles. I wasn't too impressed.. If you're doing it right it's a huge time and energy commitment and that doesn't include the commitment you need in the gym. As far as TRT, well, you really have to ask yourself if you're permanently done with your body's natural production because that's what you're looking at. I did like the mood boost and well being with test for sure but otherwise I felt watery, swelled up and unwell. The adage on the gear boards is that you should always wait until you've hit a wall as an athlete/builder and just can't get any further before using. If you use it to just get in shape in the first place it's a huge waste and I agree with this.
