Grain bags stopped colonising. Please help!

Hey guys,
I inoculated two 1kg rye bags on the 12th with 6cc each of Golden Teacher LC and on the 17th they started showing signs of mycelium growth. As of the 25th, growth seems to have pretty much come to a halt.
I had a few tubs on the go at the time, so we had a small fan going, and had the heat lamp set to 26c, which I now realise was too high. I turned the temperature down to 24.5 and turned off the fan on the 27th as the tubs were spent and taken out of the equation. I fear it may have been too little too late as the grain looks quite dry and not much is happening.
Is there anything I can do to salvage these, or are they a lost cause?
I have attached a couple of photos from first signs, where it last seemed to change and today.

Thanks in advance!

Presence of contamination is what stopping the growth. Probably bacteria. If this is only "material" you have, it can be saved with some agar work or (eve better for dealing with bacteria) transfer to PF cake.
Trash it and start new

Does kinda sound like bacteria. Break it up and shake them and hope for the best. Before using that LC again I would test it on agar and make sure it's not contaminated before wasting more rye. If you shake them it'll start growing again. Bacteria contamination will look like clear yellow/brown liquid on your grain and work it's way to the bottom of the bag. I don't see anything wrong atm. Break them up and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice. I've broken it up and gave it a good shake, so here's hoping that's enough.
I'm pretty new to this with not much to show for it so far. I haven't got any more of that one to put in agar, but I have two Jedi Mind Fuck and two Penis Eny millet bags just starting as well. Seeming a little ambitious now. Haha
So the rye being too dry doesn't seem to be an issue?

now that you shook the bags you will know shortly for yourself, but I assume the same as the others although I can't see any obvious signs of contaminant
but yeah grain looking dry in the jars/bags is desired for mycology
did you follow a prep tek for the grain? you can test them by cutting into the grain when you consider it cooked. It should be all grey and soft and expanded, not hard and starchy and white
if the grain really is not cooked thoroughly and is too dry then that would explain much of your contamination issue, if that is the case... Insufficiently hydrated grain does not sterilize properly, because water transfers heat much more efficiently than the dry matter of the grain itself
all the best

I actually ordered the bags presterilised from Rootlab because I haven't got a pressure cooker as of yet. I figured they know what they're doing better than I do. Haha
I will report back with what happens. Thanks again for the advice!

So after a good shake, the first few days looked promising, but it unfortunately looks as though they've just stalled out again.
As they may be a lost cause anyway, do you think it would be worth me introducing a few extra CCs of sterilised water in case moisture is the issue and not contam? They're getting pretty old now and figured they may just be a bit dry.
