Those look done or pretty close.
Are they getting soft? That and the caps getting darker was how I could tell.

I vac seal the swabs because I open the bag end submerged in H2o2 (in a modified glad container) and then slide the swabs in through the opening (think of a beavers den opening) so the inside of the bag doesn’t get exposed to room air.. then I seal the bag end back up while it’s still submerged. There’s a small set of SS scissors that’s pc’ed in the bag that I use to cut the swabs open.

Where's the hand drawn schematics? Those are legendary.
here’s the first part of my cloning procedure (the serial sterile water rinse) using the oven bag.. maybe when I finish that one, I’ll do the swab to spore water one lol.. they take a minute

It's kind of like do you operate on somebody with a scalpel that's been autoclaved or just rinsed with whiskey? Depends on what movie.
That said for G2G in a SAB I've just been using a clean soup spoon rinsed with iso9 for a long time, and no obvious down side. Maybe I'll sterilize them the next time if it's convenient though.

If I were doing a g2g in a sab, I would use 1/4 pint jars for masters. You could inoculate 3 qt jars per 1/4 pint or use one 1/4 pint per grain bag.
Imo, I wouldn't use any tool to dig out spawn for g2g (pc'd or not). It seems like it would be more effort than what its worth. Again, just my opinion.
Just a big spoon that sits in the jar and scoops out a tbs or so for each victim. No trouble at all, ain't making 1/4 pint jars no way.

But everytime you touch the end of that spoon and put it back into the jar you are increasing the chance of introducing mold or bacteria. Just my humble opinion. You do you, brotha.

Well sure, but the spoon is sterile to start with, the gloves that handle the spoon likewise. It only goes into the master jar which is supposed to be free of contams (or it's all fucked anyways). The lid on receiver is tilted open over the top of the jar, the spoon goes in and dispenses without touching anything. The spoon goes back in the master.
I see what you're thinking, but the end of the spoon is not festering with mold or bacteria SFAIK. Besides, you could tilt the donor jar on its side so the spoon only reaches inside and is never overhead...which is actually maybe a good idea.
I think the risk is about the same as rolling grain out of the donor jar when the threads have to be atop the receiver, but with a lot finer control of what goes where. And then what do you do, leave the donor jar sitting open in the SAB? Same deal if shit's floating around.
That is a good idea. Are you tilting the master jar when you spoon out the spawn also?

kinda makes me want to use that jar i set aside because i touched under the lid with my gloves...
what if you used a mini ladel, so the handle is curved out of the jar. with a few tweaks this might become an awesome tek

Pic tax:

No that's what I meant, tilting the master jar. Forget its fucking name.
The others (slaves?) are on their own, I just unscrew the lids as I process them in turn. Then snug them all down when done before taking them out.

I would seriously discourage adopting non sterile techniques in place of sterile. Do not spoon sterile grains with non sterile instruments.
Do you see any difference between scooping out grains with iso soaked fingers and spoons... Because it's exactly the same thing, don't do it.

but what if you pc the spoon and wrapped in foil? if you unwrap the foil in the sab would it be sterile still? and if you had a long handle, with a right angle at the top so the part you hold would always be outside of your jar.

oh wait a 90 degree angle would make it awkward as heck to use. maybe like 45 degree would be easier to handle. if only i had clean grains to try this on
