I can tell my experience of microdosing. I had pills I made from a variety of P. Cubensis, each pill held .5 grams of powder. I had taken normally one pill a day for about three weeks, and about once a week I increased the dose to two pills. I had wanted to experiment to see if the experience would be lessened over a period of time, and on the days I increased the dose I wanted to see if it would be noticeable, it was. Anyways for myself I felt a therapeutic effect after the first day. For me, it feels like hitting a reset button on the brain so I felt just better overall. I'm able to function at work no problem, I feel creative, my senses are heightened, colors are more vibrant, maybe a little more emotional but in like an overwhelming sense of happiness way. With microdosing, unlike a larger dose, it feels like you are able to stop your train of thought as well, so not getting too bogged down if you happen to venture down a not so great train of thought. I generally did not have visuals, however on the days I took 1 gram I had very minimal visuals, but they were there. After doing that for a few days I felt like a weight was off my shoulders, I felt I could handle problems better, and just lighter and happier.

just wanted to add, while real mushrooms is pretty good for its price point, for Lions Mane i would hands down go with Oriveda brand. They test for active ingredients that are responsible for the NGF of Lions Mane, not just beta glucan. Beta glucans are good for immunity, and all medicinal mushrooms have it, but arent responsible for mushroom specific benefits, ie NGF for lions mane, liver and relaxation benefits from reishi, cordycepin for endurance from cordyceps.
If a company doesnt explicitly state how much of active ingredients (erinacenes, hericenons, terpenes) its usually because its so low that it would make their product look bad. Not saying the product is worthless, but it can end up being more expensive because you need to take more to get the same benefits as a stronger product.
For Lions Mane, Oriveda is known as hands down the best, because they give you 2 bags. 1 bag of 1:1 lossless water extract (meaning they cook it all with water to extract it then dry it) and 1 bag of alcohol extract. So you basically get 2x the capsules. Its a bigger upfront cost at $80, but because you get 2x the capsules it works to be cheaper than most. Not to mention its many times more potent than others.
for others like reishi and cordyceps, i just use real mushrooms because they have ways to get 20% off and i dont need those at max strength, but for NGF which is more rare and difficult to achieve i go with oriveda all the way to know im getting the right dosage and potency. i got it from a site called dirt queen, because they got like 10% off first purchase or something with newsletter signup. Ive also seen they give 15% in their newsletters from time to time for different events.

Ok, so it sounds like a dosage increase is warranted. I started with 1.7g of fresh mushroom, but did not notice any effect. According to an online mushroom calculator, this is commensurate with consuming .2g of dried mushroom. Incidentally, how accurate/reliable are online magic mushroom calculators?
Thanks again
On my first B+ cube harvest I accurately weighed them before and after drying and found the wet/dry ratio was more like 13:1. Not sure what type you used but 1.7g wet could have been more like .13 g dry. I'm currently microdosing .25g dry (1 powdered gelcap) every 3rd day.
