How much spawn are you using the 66?
It’s safe to figure a lot of these guys are averaging 1.5oz+ dry per quart of spawn.

I think this one was around 3-3.5 true quarts and brick of coir (~650) + 3 quarts verm. Starting to bump up my spawn input to 4qts now though, and messing with going 800g of coir rather than 650g. Curious what the final weight will be as everything in that pic is still drying and I had pulled 2oz dry from it on an earlier cluster. I've never had a half lb tub but see some potential here

I'm wanting to try growing melmak/homestead, poking around I'm not finding many places that look good to get spores from though. Anyone have a recommendation where they got theirs?

I'm vaguely alarmed that I'm seeing pins on my Mak tubs at 11 days. Is this normal/is there a chance this is just good genetics or am I about to get something more like a normal cube? My swabs are from TFP as well, I've seen some people have problems with Mak reverting and such but I'm praying that's not the case here I just wanted some big ol dongs

Lenz - only 1 way to find out. IME, 10 - 20 days is typical for Mak after spawning (I've run about a hundred tubs of it). Also IME, it's common to have reverts from Mak swabs. Many are impressive! Some are even marketed these days. The beasts I posted today pinned ~2 weeks after hitting sub.

I haven't had a single swab revert yet. 11 days is really quick, but not unheard of for melmak dongs.

Update on those pins, definitely not reverts. 15 days in now and looking more like a tub of dicks by the day, very excited for this one.

Nice fruit too bro, I would be happy to rock those dicks... Plenty of clone candidates too..

I have run a few PE's & it is now to the point you could blind fold me & I could tell ya if they were ripe or not, The smell of ripe PE cant be mistaken. Never noticed what ys mention.
What do you mean by "see them choking?" Is this when they aren't pinning for a while or something else? Thanks.

If they don’t get enough air the pins stretch and don’t develop right.

Thanks A.k.a, always helpful. I've never grown in bags before. Just read this whole thread but didn't see anything about changing the bag for fruiting conditions. Do people keep them clipped the entire time and just unfurl as the fruits grow, or is more fae required? I did read about poking holes, but I'd prefer to maintain bag for a second grow if there's another way. Thanks.
