color: lilac, younger specimen darker purple
shape: tapering upward
solidity: solid (younger specimen was hollow from halfway, i believe perhaps due to insect now that I have examined older specimen)
sporeprint: purple-black(from younger, older specimen being printed now)
location: worcester, ma on at the corner of a conveinience store and busy road
Notes: There was a shrubbery near by, but not seemingly in symbiosis as mycelium was growing through the mulch. No bruising seen.
Definately, the one i found first didn't have the ring(the younger one) which is why i had so much trouble at first in iding. When I got the second one it had quite a ring, but it seperated pretty easily, which is what seemingly happened to my first find before i got to it.
I'm happy with the amount of spore drop, i've already got 3 dark prints from one cap!
