So guys, I found out about KF94 masks

You can get legit ones that are very very close to the filtering efficiency of a kn95 or k95 mask, (tested at 94% instead of 95%) while for me actually fitting much better. You can get legit ones for like $1 each on Amazon, just a heads up.
Also they have the flat front, so if you ever wanted to double mask like a with a bandana or gaiter or something, it doesn't have that weird ridge sticking out and making you look dumb.

kill it with fire.
94K children infected last week, and hospitalizations and cases are spiking like crazy too. Hospitals in the south are denying services again because they're filled up with dumb covid cases.

Can Florida not be killed with fire? because that would make me sad.
I was just at a hospital in the south and it was full with covid, pissed off healthcare providers, and people complaining about tests and procedures being cancelled. I also didn't post a source, but you can read the news where they do post sources.

I have a couple friends who just moved to Florida. I should probably call them and warn them that they might die of Covid at any moment. They are walking into a trap

If your friends voluntarily moved to florida, then they never stood a chance, even before the pandemic. It's a noble thought to try and save them though.
EDIT: I broke rule 34 and wanted to atone for my transgression. I'm not going to capitalize florida on purpose though.

https://services.aap.org/en/pages/2019-novel-coronavirus-covid-19-infections/children-and-covid-19-state-level-data-report
Quote:
at this time, it appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is uncommon among children
If you read the actual report, 11 states reported an increase, with the highest being a 4% increase of children testing positive in the past 2 weeks, although this will increase with school it seems uncorrelated geographically, although maybe politically. I say maybe because NYC and Florida seem to have similar data, it's just that California has like double the increase in cases that Florida does. I bet that in schools with unvaccinated kids you get more cases and less deaths, which so far shows is the case. In more vaccinated areas I bet you get a similar number of cases, but less testing and less hospitalizations, but over time a fast evolution of the virus and more deaths.
If only we had populations still social distancing properly. But everyone is over that and onto the nuclear option. Which will draw this out.

California has the most cases, Vermont has the highest percentage of cases that are kids,RI and north Dakota have the highest cumulative that are children. This doesnt seem to be a Florida or south specific increase, and it doesn't seem to correlate to vaccination rates

it's just odd, there is an outcry and paranoid against children getting infected, despite the fact that children are not getting severely ill. People who are vaccinated are getting infected at statistically significantly rates. This is wildly more alarming then children getting infected. Vaccinated people who get infected carry a virus that can survive vaccinated and general immunity, while the virus that affects unvaccinated people may be infected with a phenotype that most likely can only infect unvaccinated people, or a phenotype that is evolving to be less symptomatic. I still maintain my prediction that long term, you will see higher mortality rates among populations with high, but incompletely vaccination of healthy people then rates of populations with higher rates of vaccination of at risk people.

All of the covid variants that have emerged likely came from the unvaccinated population. Delta came from India.
Vaccines are not a force field. If you get the vaccine you get antibodies. You can still become infected because a vaccine isn't a body condom. Once infected you already have antibodies so you don't become nearly as infected and may not get sick at all. The virus is in vaccinated people significantly less time and thus less opportunity to mutate.
Mutation happens regardless. And largely among the unvaccinated. We can make new mRNA vaccines quickly anyway.

a concept you didn't say existed, and i demonstrated it existed in bacteria, fungi, insects, other viruses, protazoa, mammels, etc.
how doesn't it happen in a novel coronavirus.
the fact you won't acknowledge this makes you a coward and disingenuous. Maybe its nothing we have to worry about, because it won't happen with coronaviruses. That doesn't change the fact it's an entire field of research.
