INTRO
This post is an effort to share something I've put together.  Although I'm sure just about anybody might be able to get something out of it, it is geared more towards people who have suffered minor or early forms of degenerative diseases and are looking to fight back.


WHAT IS VEDA LIFETEK
It is a rigorous laid out plan of attack in effort to regain some control in our lives.  It goes far beyond just ingesting shrooms, or stacking them with supplements, it even exceeds the demands of a regimen; that is why I called it a LifeTek (did I do that right?).  Veda LifeTek involves all aspects of your life, and most likely will demand some changes to be made to accommodate it.  It is for those who are ready and willing to make a serious effort, and may not by suitable for those who are just curious.
In the past, my doctors have tested one thing at a time to make sure they know what they're seeing.  And while nobody can blame them for that approach, it ended up spending too much time out of my life without anything real to show for it.  I've learned that when you are trying to fix problems A, B, & C, sometimes trying to fix them one at a time does not really resolve anything, it just makes temporary changes.  Sometimes one of them needs the other 2 to be working in full form at the same time.  Veda LifeTek, on the other hand, is a multi-pronged attack to make sure all cylinders are firing at the same time.


WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW AHEAD OF TIME
  • It may not be cost effective.  Due to how many supplements are involved, and changing to organic foods, this could get a bit pricey.
  • The number of supplements alone is off putting (but please finish reading the post)
  • You will need to practice fasting ahead of time.  This LifeTek includes extended periods of fasting, if you have not fasted before or if you are out of practice, it is highly recommended that you teach your body that first.  You will also need to know how to properly reintroduce food into your system once the fasting period is over.  Do NOT just stuff your face because you are hungry!
  • Meditation - If you've never meditated before, please practice it ahead of time.  What type to use is different for everyone, but if you're new, I'd recommend mindfulness meditation for this.
  • Breathing exercises - There are plenty of free sources online.  You can even use a tool like the PowerLung appliance.



WHAT IT INCLUDES
  • A modified Stamets stack - ideally 3 days a week, every other day, leaving a 2-day off period.  Also, instead of using just niacin, I used a B-complex.  B vitamins work better when they work together, plus all the added benefits of more B's.  It is recommended that the B-complex is in methyl form, and that it uses P5P form of B6, as well as a form of 5-MTHF for B9.
  • A synaptogenesis stack - DHA/UMP/CDP.  Stacking DHA with uridine and cdp choline may help with synaptogenesis. 
    Wash down CDP with low sugar grapefruit juice for additional potency
    Add bacopa to this stack for memory function.
  • An ATP/mitochondrial function stack - Inositol/CoQ10/B-complex
  • A stack for neurorotection - Sulbutiamine, Vitamin E
  • A stack to help with anxiety - Ashwagandha, L-theanine, Aniracetam
  • A stack to help pain/inflammation - Vitamin C, Turkey Tail, UC-II collagen, DHA, Proteolytic Enzymes
  • A stack for improved gut biome - Acacia Fiber, Probiotics (this is also important for other things like serotonin)
  • A stack for improved sleep - Magnesium L-Threonate, Zinc (with copper), and only if needed, Melatonin
  • Meditation - along with the usual benefits, meditation tends to make my micro dosing more effective
  • Sleep management - make sure you are getting 8 hours a night
  • Exercise - energy, circulation, stress, weight
  • An organic diet - avoid processed foods, simple carbs, sugars, alcohols.  Eat only organic, including pasture raised and/or grass fed meats and animal products, non-farmed fish.  Eat only breakfast and dinner, no snacking, dinner needs to be 3-4 hours before bedtime.
  • Higher PH Water - High acidity is not good for the body, alkaline water also helps probiotics.
  • Fasting for autophagy - Recycle unhealthy or weak material to be used for healthy cells.
  • Cold showers - circulation, metabolism, endorphins, stress
  • Breathing exercises - like meditation, along with its own benefits, it tends to improve the effectiveness of my micro dosing
  • Avoid sedentary lifestyle - Constantly taking breaks to move around is good for both body and brain.


I'm sure I'm forgetting to list some benefits.  Most of these supplements pair well with each other for different kinds of stacks.
Most of these supplements also have multiple uses, for example the ATP stack and DHA are also good for neuroprotection.  The point is that they are overlapping and help to reinforce each other.


SAMPLE BREAKDOWN

In this example:
Modified Stamets is taken Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays.
Supplements are taken every weekday.
from Friday evening to Sunday evening, nothing but water with electrolytes is ingested to help induce autophagy.


This is just a sample of how to it break down, obviously it will vary from person to person based on their individual needs.


MY RESULTS(so far)
  • My spasms are gone.
  • My shaking is gone.
  • Neuropathy is reduced noticeably.
  • I was plagued with muscle weakness before, there is a slight improvement there.
  • I think psilo can be directly linked to me feeling "lighter" and more limber on the days I micro dose.
  • My social anxiety is chipping away.
  • My general anxiety is a lot better, things that would have just shut me down before, no longer make me feel the need to hide away.
  • My dyslexia had gotten really bad recently, most if not all of the recent increase has been reversed since starting this lifetek.
  • Reduction in body fat, I was avoiding the weight scale when I first started so not sure how much.



PLANNED APPROACH
I plan to let this lifetek run for a total of 6 weeks (I am 4 weeks in at the time of posting this).
At the end of the cycle, I plan to take 3 weeks off from everything, at which point I will reintroduce the modified stamets stack and the pain/inflammation stack.
