Hello :-) I'm very interested in experimenting with these beauties, a member was kind enough to offer me a print but unfortunately many months after and I havent received it * freakin covid post office fever Id guess
May I kindly request if someone is generous enough to share a spore print my way?
I would be forever grateful

If you're outside the US (US has fast shipping, I have slow), I can send you a print that I got from another member. It's still perfectly good, though I removed some spores (in a SAB).

That's very kind of you. I think there are loads of prints somewhere, so i would prefer that you keep yours, but i really appreciate the offer.

...this sounds interesting. Since Ps. natalenss originates from SA, i'm curious if you know the origin of your genetics?
I would love to have a sample of something purported to be close to the origin.

Here we go.
Looks good so far

Looking at this tub does kinda make me think maybe the environment in natal is kind of harsh so they evolved this myc as a cocoon type thing.

Thanks Pitch!

Probably should have harvested this one yesterday with the others. These things get blue and gnarly when they're overripe.

I think it has to be genes or bacterial response man, I’ve ran them in so many different conditions and the two things I’ve noticed are that they’ll throw the long spindly fruits with white caps in cube conditions and the golden fruits in high fae environments. My golden fat caps came from high fae and relatively low humidity.
I can’t say without a doubt nor am I organized enough in my life to have any halfway decent scientific documentation to prove this.
Like why the fuck do they side pin so much? I always get side pins no matter what. I ran them at 95% RH and got side pins, like I just don’t get it. Are they really that sensitive to light?

I ran two tubs (same strain) with open holes for most of the grow--a ton of FAE. The humidity in the room was normally at least 75%, but must still have been higher in the tub. Still long spindly fruit.
With a liner, I had no side pins. It was a clear liner! So they are not strongly sensitive to light.
No overlay, either. The mycelia was rhizo and did not have aerials in the plate (but did in the substrate). Modest top layer of coir, no casing. So far I think overlay is genetic, but I can't rule out other causes.

First 56qt of Adrenognome's potential nat x playa cross starting to pin finally. The tub in his sig from which these genetics originated (you da man btw AG) was sparse and uber snakey, so no shocker. I think this generation will be very similar. Forgot about it and choked it a bit but I want snakes anyway.

I’m talking about inside a pan chamber with fans FAE. I’m not saying the spindly fruits were completely absent, because I got them from the same chamber, but the best flushes came from it being dialed in.

Very nice! I definitely concur with A.k.a. on that being a solid culture. What's it look like on agar?
