Pretty! It looks like sea shells and sand dollars that lady’s put on the back of bathroom sinks to me.

In an envelope. Preferably with a piece of paper or card protecting it. They break sometimes. It's cool.

Those are really good tamp prints.
For swabs I take a piece of paper and fold it in half twice, then put the swabs in the middle.

Breakfast of champions . Oversized shoebox. Had to clean it up. The bigger ones were wide open so I pulled the sub and cleaned out the side pins. Had a few early ones too but I weighed in at 180g with this bowl of happiness left the smaller ones to finish growing so I’ll prolly end up around 200-210 total wet. I’m so damn excited

You mean for the straggler myc strands that came with it?
I've been transferring plate pins with a dental pick but even when I used a scalpel I'd occasionally pull up some mycelium--if I'm lazy I just plate it as is but otherwise I'll try and get it off with another tool.
Was just about to ask how people deal with that though actually, do you just cut the pin at the base to prevent that? I usually just skewer it and pull it off.

From how I understand it the aborts can be stronger than the fruits

Yeah you should clean a gram of them off and eat them to see how they do before tossing all those.
If I do decide to clean off the aborts these days I just slice as low as I can with the scalpel specifically to avoid all the crap that sticks to them.

Yeah it was definitely worth it bro. Now you can make some tea and have a good day. I hope you didn’t toss em already…
Or you could save all the ugly and aborted and put em in an a jar to make chocolate truffles. Some? Do that also…
