I think I'm finally ready to say goodbye to my 1.5 year old MS rice jars.

Hopefully you started a few more jars…. In a year and a half! Man, I thought I was lazy.
I’m just playing, you are probably killing it… good luck on future projects brother.

Why is the wood stick needed for slants?

I believe the wood stick increases the longevity of the slant.
@Feaso, don't have any pics but when I was pouring like 30-40mL to jar I'd have a decent amount of liquid pooled at the bottom and it didn't seem to cause too much of a problem but it might've led to the slightest bit of bacteria. I'm reducing it to 10-20mL now to see if that changes things. Also don't like having too much LC pooling at the bottom cause it's hard to avoid getting the SFD wet when shaking the jar if you're using whole SFDs.

Quite a few different ones. My roommate is better at keeping up with which is which I just take care of em and do harvest/processing when they're ready. I planted some White Willow a couple weeks ago though

Do the sides of this tub look as dry to yall as they do to me? I've been having to mist this guy 3 times a day in those couple of spots cuz they keep drying out every couple of hours. I dont wanna overmist it but I have no idea why it keep drying out so quickly Should I add another small layer of Coir now that its fully colonized? Wld that help?
The patches that kind of look like early trich in the pics dont look like that irl btw, that's just my shit phone. It looks rly good other than getting dry continously in those spots.
