I had to buy an AC while I got jerked around on the warranty for the one I had installed already. Shit hit 90°F and I shut down. Everything was going wrong at once

Now I work in the cold with drinks on deck in the fridge next to cultures. Added shelves, cleaned the dust n grime, upgraded impulse sealers.

The more I work the better my work gets and the better my work is the more I enjoy doing the work.

That range is doable, but it does suck.

85f 24/7 was as hot as I could go before 90% of my cultures went to shit. The 24/7 is important though, I had afternoon highs up to 105 but as long as it still got into the mid 70s at night it was all good.

Once you start getting into the high 70s and beyond for a majority of the time shit gets real tough though. It’s definitely the mold sweet spot.

Hey guys, I was thinking of buying a dehydrator. Do you think this is a decent one? The space between trays looks pretty thin, which was my only possible concern.

I have been using box fans for drying which work well but a dehydrator would be quicker and is nicely contained.

I reccomend rear mounted dehydrator units. I ruined several nice bottom mounted units because of crumbs.

I have a Cabelas 12 tray. It can hold a few tubs worth at once. I want to upgrade to a 160L but I see that's no longer available from Cabelas. Maybe the Weston will be my next choice.

Ah I really need a new dehydrator as well, stuffing the Presto has been getting pretty old even though it's treated me well and I've probably had the thing on for at least a thousand hours and it's still good as new. Might try the 5 gallon bucket mod.

I have such limited space for everything, every time someone posts a nice lab or grow room pic I stand in front of the two shelves in my living room and cry/rearrange things.

The 12 tray Cabela does look really nice though, is there decent space between the trays for phat fruits?

Try a few heat sinks. Buckets of water should keep things more stable

It seems to go in and out of stock. I checked probably two weeks ago and they were in stock online.

Bought my first one in march
