All in one grow bag - when to mix?

I have an all in on bag that I inoculated about 3 weeks ago. Mycelium has been growing well. I am wondering when should I shake the bag, mixing th BRF and the grain on the bottom together?

If you squirted spores in that I don't think you want to mix it. Migh be best to leave it be like a cake PF style

If there were not 2 layers of substrate (grain on bottom, BRF on top) I would probably leave it alone like you suggest. From what I have read these bags need to be mixed at some point. Just cant find much on when is best.

Aside from that deep white growth, are you seeing other things growing in there? The upper parts seem 'off' color which suggests something else is growing, probably a contamination of some sort, but could very well be just condensation, if so, just leave it be for if you shake em up, you would also spread the contamination.

Nothing else seems to be growing. As far as I can tell this bag is looking good.

Every decision in life is 50/50. If you still got spores I would let it ride while starting agar.

I would break it up at this point, if it is contaminated it is contaminated but personally I think you will get at least one flush out of it maybe more if you do more than 1 fruiting chamber.
Break it up let it colonize to 100% and spawn it. Only way I learn is by doing so that would be my suggestion. At this point I don't think you will benefit from not breaking up the spawn.
Good luck.

Really nicely colonized for 3 weeks. My 2 AIO bags were inoculated on 27.5. with AMZ and GT and they're not even at 50% yet, especially GT. Last few days I've been slapping my own wrists to not break it up yet.

It's not good to necro posts that are years old. Plus, spores straight to grain is poor practice generally and is discouraged for good reason.
