Holy shit. SF is up and beating the Friars. They are going to most likely be one game above .500 after this. Who blinks firsts, Giants or Dodgers? Cards are tearing it up and that one game and would love to see a 40 year old pitch against the Dodgers and the season he is having in a one game playoff and beat them. It is impressive.
Is so easy to make the playoffs now. I remember when the Giants in a season won 101 games and missed the playoffs. That still amazes me. This is getting fun. Bryant was such a great pickup and Crawford is an amazing player. Dodgers got Trea and that really sucks. Looking forward to see what happens in this race.
In the A.L., blah.

Go Giants. Lol. Sox win, TBurlocis Florida team wins both series and Giants and White not Red Sox in the World Series. But wishful thinking is great. God if I survive Vegas two years without a vacation I might go to Tampa Bay and the worst field in the Majors and get a world series ticket for 15 dollars. Reminds me of Montreal home attendance in their dying days before the strike when they could of won a championship with Pedro and Larry and so many others in their prime. Is to bad. Just endless Yankees. Fuck them and fuck Brandon Belt on San Fran the last week, I could care less Muncy.
JUST GIVE ME MORE BAUER VIDS TO READ ABOUT! Holy shit, yeah, he does seem like a psychopath on the field on in the bedroom.
On with the games.

Barnaby said: The A's aren't getting their San Fran like stadium on the waterfront after the vote today. That is by far the worst stadium I have seen a baseball game at. Poverty sucks. San Fran is fun. That area and COLLASIUM from Roman times isn't.
Once is enough seeing a game there. Had no desire to go back. Kind of like SF-Oakland is like North Side-South Side in Chicago. At least L.A. has two enjoyable stadiums and MVP man. Been to Candlestick and the Big A. Watch old highlights and it is, wow. How did they play on concrete turf for MLB and NFL back during the heyday of shit stadiums? Just like G.S. just move them out of that area.
I grew up going to the Stick and to the Coliseum. Once Oracle (formerly Pac-Bell then SBC then ATT Park) got built I mostly stopped going to games in Oakland. Although I did see one of the battle of the bay games there a few years back. I've always liked the A's as my secondary team, I think most Giants fans do, but for some reason A's fans think our rivalry is some huge deal and seem to hate us.
What a season. I was just stoked to have 162 games to listen to on the radio this year, had zero expectations for my Giants, neither did anyone in America. Projected to win 78 games (maybe less?). Best season in history. Posey came back on fire after his year off, Crawford playing like an MVP (definitely Gold Glove), Gausman and Webb both throwing heat, the addition of Kris Bryant, LaMont Wade Jr. and all his walk off hitS, Brandon Belt going on an insane hot streak before breaking his thumb... All so much fun to watch. Not gonna lie, I totally doubted Gabe Kapler and Farhan Zaidi, more thN happy to eat a big meal of crow on that one.
Giants-Dodgers faced off 19 times in regular season. Giants won the series 10-9. In one of the games Pujols hit what would have been a go-ahead homer in the 9th but was robbed by Mike Tauchman and the Giants held on to win. So, in essence, Mike Tauchman (who has since been released), is the difference between the Giants winning/losing the division.
First time in history for an Giants-Dodgers postseason series. Best rivalry in sports. This shits about to be lit. Let's fucking go.

Yeah. Especially in a short series. Rockies are my team but have been to San Fran a lot in my life and saw Bumgardner in his prime and it was almost a reverence when he pitched in the stadium and then the next day was just whatever. What a good pitcher can do and he was left to die in the desert of Arizona.
To see all those statues and championship banners is amazing, one of my favorite parks. And the people, amazing. Chavez Ravine is such a different story. It has it perks and L.A. has warm beaches, not now of course but was born there and is so laid back. That is the rivalry S.F. and L.A. Not Oakland. Hope they get a new stadium built and a decent payroll. I didn't know that L.A. and S.F. have never met in the playoffs. I hope S.F. wins but don't think it will happen.
Glad to see Tampa Bay beat the Red Sox game 1 when everyone who follows baseball and the Yankees against the Bosox and little Tampa blows them out with their shitty stadium and shitty crowd like a Triple AAA team. Keep developing those players for teams with payrolls and once in awhile, you get their best prospects and a chance for a championship. Really wouldn't care if they won it all.
Someone predicted that it will be an Astros-Dodgers World Series. If that happens I won't watch one game and just the highlights in the deciding game to see if the Astros cheated in some way again. Can see why their second best player wants out of there and won't resign. Players get tired of people throwing plastic garbage blow up bags onto the field and all the signs. Reminds me of going to Coors in Denver when Bonds played and bought a ticket in left field. Everyone had these massive blowup syringes and signs and constantly yelling at him.
I hope S.F. gets at least gets it to a game 5 deciding game, will see. Reading the L.A. Times and it saying, this damn playoff game against the Cards and they made a game of it. This will take a bit longer.

Giants gonna surprise everybody like they have been all season. I love my team being the underdog.
Wish I was going. Went to a couple games in September, saw Webb and Wood beat the Brewers and the Braves respectively. Took my daughter to her first game. Good times.

Brew Crew no one paid attention to them all year but maybe they will surprise as well. Yeah. Always remember my late father taking to \so games as with his job he travelled everywhere and racked up the frequent flyer miles before the airlines got stingy. Good memories and buying me a team I hate now but at the time in a playoff atmosphere at chavez ravine and sold out.
That will be a memory that doesn't go away. And if I have a kid in time, no offense to your daughter, I hope is a male. Have seen my brother have four kids and first three were female and he just wanted one, just one, male though they swore they would never have another kid. But they did and it was a male. Think they are done. He is Mormon so who knows but glad for him.
My mom tried for a girl but got twins first time pregnant which I am one and three other males and gave up on a daughter.
Point being no one can really predict the future. No one saw Covid/Delta extention coming. On with life. Is great to see people packed in stadiums again. Not the same as watching on a t.v. with no crowd or limited seating. Love it.

Boooo Lynn and the White Sox, Booooo! That was a horrid game. I hate the Astros. Really, the only team I actually despise because of their cheating ways. Their is cheating and then their is the so many ways the Astros cheat it is amazing. Will be in Vegas soon. Still, if one bets on the Astros is it like being a cheater with no integrity? Whatever. Not doing it. Is great though to finally have a vacation since covid hit. Puts me in a real good mood.
Thinking the Dodgers beat San Fran. Interesting series.

Crazy how many people seem to give the Astros a pass but still hate on the Barry. He's the GOAT no matter what they say.
Also funny how the national narrative always follows the same teams every year. People doubt the Giants because nobody outside the west coast is watching them play. How is Tatis an MVP candidate over Brandon Crawford? Is MVP offense only? Because dude is mediocre at SS. Crawford easily the best SS in the league and is having a great offensive year on a WINNING team. Giants fans know, other players know.
Doyers going down.

I get your point. Crawford hitting and and seeing some highlights of his defense is a joy to watch. Like when Machado called him out Tatis is all about me and no team. San Fran is like a well oiled machine with team chemistry. Padres were not and imploded.
Bonds, will never be in the hall of fame but like a previous post I paid to go see him but was there more to see him close up. Didn't expect that so many fans would be there just endlessly taunting him and all that shit. Why go to a ball game that is supposed to be enjoyable and spend that time just heckling someone? It got boring quick.
Anyway, Brew Crew time, they are going to destroy today shortly. Like this team. Strange how a small market team can be overlooked which is normal but San Fran everything is about the Dodgers with the news. It is not like San Francisco is a small market team. But to the Brewers game coming up that I am going to enjoy watching, Colbert made me laugh, they are named the Brewers for a reason.
Hope S.F. wins the short series and Bauer shuts the fuck up.
Yes, am bored waiting for the game. Little known fact, Milwaukee has the most bars of any city in the United States. Lol, what else are you going to do there? Amazing the Bucks actually won a championship. Drinking, bars, and sports. Still Milwaukee really isn't in the top tier of travel destinations.
This is going to be an enjoyable day and Braun is gone and, everyone outside of Milwaukee hates the guy which made me laugh for his lying. Can't be easy running in one of those hotdog body costumes.

4's. Please White Sox win.
Time for the Brewers of Beer city to wipe out Atlanta as it is just starting. Goodbye Freddie. I want to be a Brave for life. Well, Ted doesn't want to pay you like Chipper and educated guess, won't be a Brave next year.
Think the Braves win one out of the series. Just great to see the Brewers instead of the Cubs playing.

Hall of Famer. Was wonderful seeing the Dodgers get shut out and the energy of the fans. Love that park and fans. L.A. is so different at Chavez, people from the games I go to are laughing and having fun, L.A. is has this reserved quality about it like one sitting on a beach and looking at the ocean but it is a team. That was a great start for San Fran and the Webb. Almost 8 innings of scoreless baseball thrown. Liked how the ball bounced off and into the ocean from Posey.
God, the fucking Rays and White Sox. Both teams are pretenders. Brewers won which I knew they would but just by a run. Win is a win. In a best of five every game is important so Giants, please win game two.
Watching it want to be there but already made vacation plans. Next year. And of course Crawford homered.

Wow, after the fast start Astros up 2-0 in the series put in garbage. Glad I was wrong. And hopefully be wrong the next two games. Does anyone watch Astros games and wonder if they have buzzers in their uniforms or can still get away with using video technology to know what pitch is coming? Still love that. Inflatable garbage bins being thrown on the field and the meaning of it, they are trash.
I despise playing the MLB that way. And I grew up in the steroid era.
San Fran and Dodgers series is getting interesting. Please Giants for the love of God win in L.A.

The keyboard critics were roasting Longoria over the last couple days, and before tonight's game Kapler spoke at length about why he has full faith in Longo and why he will continue to start. And sure enough he scores the only run of the night.
Crawford is the best SS in the league, but we already knew that.
