What's the payment for trip?

Let's put this here first. I'm not asking for shrooms or how much you pay for them or where to get them. Now that I cleared that š we have a saying in my home country which translates "stick always has two ends". We always pay for everything in some sort of way. You get drunk, next day you have hangover. Take MDMA next day hangover and "empty head". Anything which gives you some sort of high or experience cost in some sort of way. So my question is what is the negative of shrooms? What's the payment for this experience? I believe there's nothing free. Just trying to find the answer. Any thoughts?

Next day after i usually feel like superman, nothing bothers me and i feel happy. After that day though i feel bit more tired than usually, but it passes after that day usually.

It is purely on a person by person basis, but as for the "payment" the only real thing I could think of is if you have mental problems, or do not have proper set and setting which could lead to you having a bad trip.

Comprehensively? Pretty much none - no hangover if you're healthy and fit, which is awesome, and little chance of addiction as well. If you invest the time to learn to grow it's all positive.
Maybe they will rearrange your attitude as well.

It can be disruptive to your sleeping and eating cycle. I'm usually skipping a meal before I do them or staying up much later if I take them at night. Outside of that though it's always mentally refreshing for me unlike alcohol or mdma.
You might take a monster shit from the fiber. That could be a positive or negative thing for you.

I think bad or good trip is all experience and you learn from it, come out with something positive anyway. I might be diving to deep and trying to find an answer that there's a "suffering" somewhere. I had good trips and a had a bad trip but came out positive and more mature from it, but what I'm trying to find is a "cost or a price" for it. This question was asked by my brother. He had most positive experience which changed him a lot, but he's asking what was the price of it and what he lost? Sorry, English is not my first language, but so far you guys haven't mentioned the "price" only the goods. Example: there's a free book, it's absolutely free, but we need you to subscribe to our newsletter. That's the "payment". I hope that's more clear

Mushrooms have a minimum cost/benefit ratio. The cost is what ever you paid, in cash, to procure them. The benefits however, are boundless.

For me there is no "payment" besides perhaps the come up and/or the possibility of a purge (tho I've only puked from mushrooms maybe 3 or 4 times out of 150+ trips with them). Psychedelics don't drain me or deplete me in any sort of way. They charge me up, they tune me up, they enhance and sharpen me up in all sorts of ways. I don't experience anything negative the day(s) after a mushroom trip, quite the contrary. I tend to feel absolutely amazing and on top of the world the day(s) after a trip with mushrooms.
If anything, like a few others have mentioned, sometimes I can feel a bit tired/lethargic the day after. But this doesn't always happen and I feel the main reason for this is because I was up all night long or for 24+ hours (I usually trip at night, even when I don't I am up for a long time). Even if I didn't eat any mushrooms I would feel tired because of being up all day night long, so I don't feel this aspect is a direct effect of mushrooms/psychedelics. There have been many times that I don't even feel tired the day after at all, I just feel crisp and light and clear.
Sometimes I can be a bit hyper emotional the day(s) after a mushrooms trip and will randomly start to cry or cry easily at things (crying at both happy/beautiful things or because of sad/hurtful/frustrating things), or I'll go through some depressive/emotional phases at points during the day or two after, but this is not a bad/negative thing and is very much just part of what the mushrooms do (LSD does this to me too the days after, even more so than mushrooms actually). For me the entirety of what mushrooms/psychedelics do doesn't end when the trip starts to come down/fade, there are more "phases" that I continue to go through during the day or two after the trip.
The day after tripping on mushrooms I feel better than ever, I feel absolutely fantastic, I feel closer to my "true" self. My cognition/mind is sharper. I am more social/outgoing. My field of vision is wider and more crisp and I can "take it all in" a lot better. I walk with my head up more. I have a pep in my step. I am more confident. I am more motivated. I am filled with love & light. I speak from my chest/heart and with more clarity & volume than usual. I feel as if I am vibrating/buzzing. I hum and whistle little songs to my self as I go about my day. I feel more connection to the cosmos, our planet, to myself, to our fellow brothers & sisters across the earth, and to the "mystery" of it all. My mind is deeper and more open, more than anything I feel "in the flow".
For me...Psychedelics are straight up medicine for the mind & body & soul. Not something that is draining/depleting/impacting various systems within the body.
A couple weeks ago I was camping way up in the middle of the mountains....The first night I had a few beers, wasn't even drinking heavily (had about 5 beers around 6% to 7% alcohol through out the entire night). I woke up feeling like shit. I had a shitty headache and just felt "out of it" in general when I woke up. Once I got moving around and smoked some weed and ate some food and drank some water I was feeling better after a few hours.
The rest of the time that I was up there I didn't drink any more beer, but I ate a bunch of mushrooms every day for 3 days in a row and some LSD one of the days that I was up there...When I woke up the morning after eating mushrooms or LSD I was feeling 100% fine, better than usual actually, bright eyed and ready for the day. And I was basically eating mushrooms all day long every day while up there lol. I ate over an ounce of different potent mushrooms while up there over the course of 3 days (Albino penis envy, Penis envy, Psilocybe Cyanescens, and Psilocybe allenii).
The last day I was a little tired and mostly felt like relaxing/napping, since i was only getting a few hours of sleep each night, but overall I felt good.
Psychedelics really don't have any sort of negative "impact" or "depletion" on my mind, body, or overall "being"...They are the opposite of such, they bring benefits and enhancements to my mind & body and overall being.
For me...Mushrooms are like being slapped with tuning fork from "god"/the source of it all. All of the classic psychedelics do this for me (and many other people), but mushrooms in particular really offer me a lot of benefits/enhancements.

I prefer to consider that mushrooms are medicine with interesting side effects. Usually those side effects are enjoyable (euphoria, nice mental images, introspection, feeling grateful at being alive, etc). The day after, I feel great. Only a couple of times I had a slight headache (only happened once) or a bit less energetic (not tired but more like being very relaxed, which may not be great if you have work to do).
The negatives are very slight and they happen the day of the experience, not the day after: sometimes lots of yawning in the come up, feeling hot and cold at the same time, occasionally slight cramps in my legs, at the comedown I usually am very hungry but that may be because I usually get up at 4 am, work out at the gym, and don't eat anything before taking the mushrooms around 8 or 9 am. By the time I eat, I have already been up 8 to 10 hours without having eaten anything. I'd say food tastes amazingly good when you are still a little bit under the influence of the mushrooms. And I feel great relief from my depression.
I don't consider mushrooms a drug but a medicine with pleasant side effects.

yeah I usually take a bong rip or two ...happens more if I take the mushrooms towards night...i think it has to do with the fact that I forget to drink water while tripping so iām probably dehydrated lol

Headaches the day after a mushroom trip happens for quite a handful of people. So many folks on the forums have spoken of such over the years I've been around here and I've heard it from a few others in person as well. It seems like this stands out as being more common with mushrooms than LSD, but that could simply be because there are more people around the world dosing with mushrooms than there are dosing LSD so it is spoken about more.
For a portion of the population that experiences headaches the day after, I really do feel it is caused by or exacerbated by dehydration since mushrooms tend to dump out a lot of fluid from the body.
But at the same time there could be neurological or serotonergic things going on affecting blood flow in the brain causing headaches the day after.
Just random speculation.
I am prone to and get migraines specifically somewhat regularly in my life in general, and headaches the day after a mushroom trip isn't something that happens for me. I'm sure I have had a headache the day after a mushrooms trip at one point or another over the years but it isn't a common thing for me at all. I've been meaning to try taking a teeny tiny dose when ever I feel the first signs of a migraine setting in to see if it helps at all.

Mushrooms can cause sinus dumps and all sorts of bodily fluid release, yeah it may be why people get dehydrated. I notice they encourage me to notice thirst and drink water, and water has never tasted quite that good before.
They are emotional amplifiers. If you go into a trip or experience with positivity and optimism it usually wells up 10-fold later on. But if you approach them with fear or trepidation you're likely to get your butt kicked and then handed to you on a plate. So plan well and wisely, and if you have serious issues in your life that need fixing get onto fixing them before you trip.

The next day is a lost day for me. All through my main LSD tripping years (age 16-21) my big problem was sleep deprivation. Most of my trips have been in the evening. I'd dose around 7pm, peak around 9-10-11pm, then ride it out a few more hours and around 4-6am attempt to go to sleep. I'd roll around and start to drift off around the same time the world was waking up. After that it was hard to get to sleep because of the noise and activity of the daytime. And in my mind, since I didn't really sleep, it's still yesterday. We all know that feeling.
So it's pretty much a lost day, feeling lazy and tired and nursing a mild headache from sleep deprivation. But at the same time, it was pleasant because the tripping thoughts were still swimming around in my brain. Then I would get a good night's sleep and feel great the next day.
