Holy shit I thought my enigma was doing well! You killed it man! Any advice?!

Gettin' some big brainers finally! Got another tub of these going too, hopefully see the same. The whole surface of this sub is covered in growth, not sure if it's going to brain up or not. Has been in fruiting conditions a full month already and not looking like it's stopping soon! I've had other tubs made the same day put out 2 flushes and get tossed already!
I only ever use corn. It's the highest carb/sugar content of any grains that we use, almost 3x the amount of carbs compared to brown rice, almost 5x that of oats. Carbs=energy. Shit's easy to handle and prep too once you've got it down.

Agreed.

Good job on those oysters! I also did a bucket grow with straw very recently.
Thank you!
How did yours turn out? I like straw. It's messy and kind of a pain though.
Yea straw is hell. The bruthamang's way of pasteurizing straw is a bit less messy than the tub way, it's what I do.
Here's my oysters, not as nice as your grow.

Buckets are a pain compared to plastic grocery bags hung from a pull-up bar

I didn't mind working with straw, it's less messy than poo.

It started of as a faint geometric pattern looking thing and kept expanding. Idk what it is... I would say contam based on how different its growing... Maybe i didnt swirl my agar before pouring idk.. Its on full strength agar.. Pouring some new plates with lower nutes and will tranafer

That would be one the prettiest contams I’ve see. My natal super strength looked similar on agar.

This is why I fuck with plates and try to isolate. Anyone discouraging trying to isolate and just going with clone is holding people back from learning. Its like someone reccomending you to grow a feminized cannabis plant and discouraging growing regular seeds. You learn more through isolation vs clone and imo you can find some unique aggresive mycelium. If this growth continous on to the next plate...its gonna look wild cuz im doing a low nute agar

It looks like bacteria from the shape. I’ve had some similar but they were inside the agar making the swirly fractal type pattern.

P.E spore germination plate. This is my only plate that did this out of 30

It's not the mycelium you're looking for.

I know they’re small but I love the way they look.

Should be good to go after 24 hours unless the dehydrator is incredibly stuffed.
Judging by the PE shoeboxes you posted recently, you're in the clear.
