Proper lions mane wood chip/ sawdust Particle size... how to process sawdust?

So I’m making supplemented sawdust blocks for lions mane with the fallen Poplars that grow like weeds round my necks. I have this mulcher/ shredder thing that brought the size down to what you see in the picture. I know sawdust used on average is smaller than what I have here, though I’ve also seen the wood chips that some use, and those are even bigger than what I have here. So I was gonna go for the 2/1/.25/.125 ratio of sawdust/wood chip/bran/gypsum; respectively. What id like is input or opinions on if this size looks good to run with as is; and don’t bother with turning two thirds into sawdust, or should I find a way to drop the particle size still? I’m not going for “whatever works” or is easier, but instead with what will give the best yields and performance. If you the Pham think I should create smaller particles, what machinery or tools do you guys use, cuz the shredder I got only takes it this small. I even ran it through twice with really no difference. The machinery built specifically for creating sawdust; from my research is extremely costly. Down the road I don’t mind investing, for now I’m looking for an alternative other than a coffee grinder or food processor that will do 5-10 pounds at a time. Though if I need to process a cup at a time in my coffee grinder, or invest into a food processor I don’t mind running with what I have at the moment.

My question was never answered. Which was. What is the preferred particle size of sawdust for lions mane. That was the main title of post. Should have just left it at that and not elaborated on my whole process. Still I don’t have an answer for particle size. I’ll stick with nothing smaller than .1 mm . But I need some smaller powder for the mix. Just thought maybe I’d also ask if anyone had any tek for making the smaller dust. Instead everyone said pay money and do it the easy way. I know I’d be investing in equipment to make sawdust. But that still sounds better than a supply chain that isn’t laying in my backyard.

The preferred particle size is sawdust.
"The average diameter of wood dust is usually between 10 and 30 µm; however, in thin processing, even smaller dust can be produced with a diameter lower than 5 µm. Machines emit wood particles at an average speed of 10 m s-1."
