Idk if this is contam or what, the previous transfers i did on different agar plates werent fuzzy at all, but on this one it seems weird.

Looks fine, the fuzziness might be bacteria riding along, transfer from the leading edge to clear it up if thats the case (your leading edge looks fine to do so.)

I get that on almost all of my agar transfers. First the mycelium wants to colonize all sides of the chunk I transferred. Then it wants to get all big and fuzzy on that chunk. Then finally it begrudgingly jumps down to the new agar and starts spreading. Never understood why and I use the same recipe in all my plates so you'd think the mycelium wouldn't know the difference between the agar in the new plate and the uncolonized sections of the agar it got transferred in on, but it does....

OK gotcha, thanks a lot. Was a bit paranoid that i might of been breeding cobweb mold lol.

No problem. If it was cobweb, it would expand out across the place FAST. Like 1 day could see it going all the way across the plate.
