This little feller was inside a dead Ash tree I took down. He was moved out of the way and given head scritchies before mumma came by to scoop em up. Would have loved to keep him as a party squirrel, teach him how to drink beer and waterski.

Found these shortly afterwards, I believe in the connection!
Not sure what this guy was but it was a chilly day so he wasn't very bitey.

This is also a pinewoods litter snake. They are mild venomous but won't hurt humans. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pine_woods_snake

Had to take a trip my home town in way south Florida to bury my grandfather and figured I'd do a little foraging.... Struck out in the fields but took the fam to the beach I grew up on critter hunting.

The dreaded pinfish! The bane in my fishing experiences every time I fished salt water! Good to eat though.

They most certainly are, and I have found very few people besides you and I that have ever eaten them! Heck I've eaten lizard fish and lady fish before too

Got caught out in rain but had to snap this shot of this poor blue colored snake that didnβt quite make it across the road

Also hereβs some animal scat. Mostly fur and some bones. Iβm sure someone in here could offer an educated guess on what animal it could be from

The snake is a blue phase rough green tree snake. The scat is likely coyote

Tapered and curled ends, that does look like coyote.
