contam plate, no myc spores went on this plate. anyone know what mold this is? looks like myc when it starts growing but gets way thicker down the line, but also has a thin halo of cube myc-looking growth. Stays bright white never changes color. Still unsure which plates are even infected with it for sure yet cause it seems to blend in so well
Prolly aspergilus or acromonium. They're very common families of mold/fungus.
LC's look damn ready. So do these sfs jars. Fairly easy to prep.

This is definitely the weirdest tub I’ve ever had.
Bacterial leucistic Burma spawn

The chunky caps are a trip.

Lol, those caps look pretty cool actually. Is that due to the contamination?

You don't see a lot of big pressure cookers where I live, but I finally got a good deal on one. Thirty liters, woo!

And to think I had to sterilize one jar at a time before this.

Rw x MM f2 “hitachi” clone. Happy to see that it’s not ejecting spores all over itself and does appear to have rust colored spores from appearance and swab test. Going to let these go the rest the day before harvesting. Not monsters, but def not small either. Squeeze test feels like stipe is slightly hollow but maybe not as bad as other phenos. 22 days spawn to harvest

I was only able to do one jar at a time when I started out too, getting a real pc really opens the floodgates. Hope you’ve got lots of jars and tubs

You used to to do one jar at a time? Your joking right? At least 4 half pints right? What did you use before your new pc?

Speaking of bacteria, this was about 3 pints of bacterial Ecuador spawn. Actually looked alright til this morning, a nice size slimy spot showed up and looks to be destroying the mycelium and made the bases of the shrooms a soft mess. Guess I should pull the rest early. Did get a few weirdos- one has a hairlip, one grew out from the cap of another, and there is what looks like 2 stipes that grew together and has a cap in the middle.

Haha yeah, I got eight 1L jars right now, which I can just about fit side by side. Could add a few more laying down on top, but I'm happy as is.

I'm afraid so. I used a 7 liter pressure cooker before this. Couldn't find anything bigger for a reasonable price. I could fit one 1L jar in there, or two 1L PP boxes but that was really pushing it. Melted a couple of those boxes, actually.
Before buying this PC I tried the 'broke boi tek' three times, which basically means steaming whole brown rice instead of PC'ing. Everything contamed every single time, so I said fuck it.

Cross post from the outdoor thread, thought I would share here as well.
What I expect to either be an interesting PE pheno or possibly a cross growing in my bed:

This odd helmet cap with white halo ring is present even as primordia and continues increasing in size as it matures with the pin. It's very distinctive and stands out amongst the other primordia, I'll be cloning this for sure.
