mushrooms in my back yard..

Can somebody post a picture or two of what mushrooms look like sprouting out of the ground? Or describe the image? I think I found a couple LARGE clusters of actives growing out of some mulch, but could be wrong.

you need to post an image and a full description. You cannot ask anyone to guess what your shrooms look like while you're standing in front of them yourself. See sticky thread.

There are many types of shrooms with the magic that you seek my lad. You cannot just say that you found actives but could be wrong. To post pictures of all the mushrooms with psilocybin in them there would be over 100 pictures. So please post a picture and follow the information in the sticky thread at the top. Thanks

Oops!

There are actually close to 190 species of mushrooms with psilocine/psilocybine and other relaated alkaloids in them worldwide.

Not to mention the countless types of inactives that grow in mulch. So... give us a picture and description, not ask for a general question of what a growing mushroom looks like. I'm sure with a simple search you can find out what a sprouting mushroom looks like.

Hey, this is not what I asked. I didnt say "Guess and identify the mushie in my yard." I simply asked "What IN GENERAL do mushrooms look like when sprouting out of the ground?" as opposed to looking like trees and grass and stuff like that. You misinterpreted my post. Now can I get a response?

There are these *thick fingery things growing up out of the dirt in clusters, they are white.. Not sure if they are mushrooms or if they are just something I've never seen before. These are what I will compare your posts to.

mushrooms sprout differently... your best bet is to go looking urself...

LMFAO... look at some fresh mushies in the supermarket of various types thunder... then try to imagine them sticking out of the dirt or a cowpat or some woodchips, instead of being in a packet or on the shelf... then you will be closer to having an idea of what they look like 'sprouting out of the ground'... chuckle...
