The UK has been unusually transparent with covid data. The deaths, how they sort by demographics, how they are defined. It's all there. The NHS, the Office for National Statistics, the small print put under TV news segments, Public Health England; They all tell you what is going on, and give you the raw data to look at yourself.
I couldn't help but notice that this information is missing in most of the world, and anyone who publishes the data is forcefully suppressed. The people who believe the data are called 'covid deniers', and snipets of information that get out are called 'far right conspiracy theory.'
Almost everyone who died was over 60, almost everyone under 60 who died was over 50. The ventilators killed more than they saved. Being morbidly obese was a factor in most of the deaths on the younger end. A 'covid death' is defined as 'a death from any cause within 28 days of a positive test', and the tests are of dubious (though increasing) accuracy. Flu deaths are folded in with Covid deaths. Viruses naturally evolve to become less lethal over time and the chance of a lethal super strain is extremely remote. etc
The UK vaccine roll out was organised by medical professionals and was based on the data, not organised by politicians based on politics. It turned out to be an incredibly effective roll out. Only just now getting to low BMI 50-55 year olds, but already having all but eradicated the ICU cases and deaths.
Even the Americaphile press don't really push back, just a few complaints in the tabloids from perfectly healthy 22 year old students who are annoyed they can't skip the queue in front of grandma.
I can't say much about the specific policies and beliefs of any nation, and I don't have anything to add or to argue. I just think it's interesting that my country is freely publishing information that most of the world is forcefully suppressing and presenting as conspiracy theories invented by nazis. I find it fascinating that a few months ago I sat and watched as a doctor in Germany was arrested at rifle point because he was livestreaming information which in my country is freely published on .gov web pages.
I suppose the real point of interest isn't the published covid data, which to me seems perfectly normal and not worth debating, even if it is debatable. The real point of interest is how foreign internal propaganda can be completely transparent to someone from a country that is, at least in this one point, open and honest. Beware of anyone who needs to use force to convince you. They only need to use force because they can't convince you of a lie.
Get the Oxford vaccine, not that RNA muck, you fat old foreign fucks.

‘Our calculations show almost 63,000 more people died in the first 10 months of the pandemic in England and Wales than would usually be expected to die from any cause between March and December. This reduced life expectancy in 2020.’
