I have e Galaxy S9 that worked fine. . . Until one day it didnt...
This is apparently a common problem and it's pretty awful -- it gets a "moisture earning" that won't go away and makes it impossible to charge.. .
First I tried every possible thing....
Eventually I got it to charge but --
Now it won't after it has charge.
I'm hoping that when it gets back to 0% again I'll be able to charge it back to 100%
But I'm not sure...
At first I tried every single possible "fix" (and there are hundreds of them on YouTube and elsewhere....)
Okay, long story short anyone know anything about this?
I had no idea it was so expensive of a phone... someone gave it to me..

Same phone; I had the same thing. Turns out there was some lint/dirt in my charging port and my headphone jack. I don't know if that's what's causing your warning but if so, I found that a toothpick worked just fine for picking the gunk out.

Yeah, I have a Samsung A5 (2017 version) and I got the same warning once like a year ago, fixed it with a tiny toothpick or paperclip by sticking it in the part where you plug into the phone and making sure no dust or dirt was in there, also blowing real hard in it to get any hidden dust/dirt out. I've had my Samsung A5 for like 3 years and it has never had problems or made me want another phone. It's a good phone. Samsung Galaxy's are usually pretty good if you just take a little bit of care of them.

I appreciate it..
I'll try cleaning it for sure... I am just a bit lazy.
I did take super good care of it at first and then...
Yeah.
It seemed to be charging as long as I let it get to 0, but after that working twice there was just nothing now.
I dunno I'm just a little frustrated because it shouldn't be that hard it feels....
And I also didn't realize it was quite as an expensive phone as it is..
But I really appreciate that so much. Thank you.

I got a new Galaxy about two years ago with the proprietary jack, it stopped charging shortly afterwards. Now I use a generic wireless charger and it charges fully within a few hours.

vacuuming can also do good. I usually place my fingers over the end of the pipe to get a smaller hole so to focus the suction in the desired area.
with the early galaxy phones you can take them apart replace circuit boards and take the battery out for privacy. They soon put a stop to that.
