Man, I thought I was going crazy! All of my nat tubs have come from the same germ plate, and the majority of them throw the tall, lanky, pale fruits we're used to seeing now. Overlay and all that jazz. But two of my most recent tubs have thrown fruits that look like regular cubes. Very regular. No overlay, pinned on day 11, had a complete veil. I had chalked it up as a mislabel and didn't bother taking pictures, clones, or prints smh. When I cut them, they bruised green, which turned black when left to sit. They looked just like your second picture.

First pins coming through on my first clone of the pale ones. It was significantly easier to get this one to pin. I have an MS culture running next to it that seems to be taking its sweet time, going to try potting soil on it and see what happens.

Annnnnnd one more shoebox pre harvest:

It was crazy the difference between yesterday and today on this tub. They got big *quick*. I'm already seeing 3rd flush pins coming in too...

If anybody in this thread needs a print hit me up. I'm going to do a giveaway next week but want to give first dibs here.

Potting soil right after full colonization and you'll see pins in 3 days.

Thank you all for the advice. Just applied a layer to some newly colonized tubs and some older ones that I’ve started to give up on. Fingers crossed. Do you think the shoebox I posted would benefit as well? Or would it be best to leave it alone, as it’s already pinning?

It's so relieving seeing them pop through all that madness lol.  Nice.  You guys are fucking smoking these nat grows btw.  Yeah buddy.
Soooooooo glad to be back  :sammy: While I was gone I had to miss harvesting my first nat grows.  Luckily my wife not only harvested them for me,  but broke out my DSLR for photos.  I'm quite proud of her.

Had another box that was much more like a tradition cube with gorgeous color and very light spore deposits (had to swab).

Sampled a gram of the first box pictured super early this morning and got much more than I bargained for.  Wow...

Wow man those are the most cubey ones yet. So many phenos in these things. Even your first box looks like natal but a different pheno than I’ve seen so far.

Maybe there’s so many phenos because of the same reason F2 cross prints have so much variety but instead of it being in every flush it’s in every group of dikaryon

Got this
I feel like it’ll make one badass casing.
Should I pasteurize it?

Naw, just use it straight from the bag. I misted mine pretty heavily after applying. But you may want to be careful to do it too much as it gets kinda muddy.

I know a traditional “casing” should be non nutritious. This has compost and rice hulls which I’m not sure about molds being present. Hopefully the nat myc doesn’t eat it all up haha

Yeah Aka it tripped me out too.  I swore I was going to chill on the actives but I'm really,  really itching to run  some of both genetics out a bit to see where it takes me...  Want to run through both apparent phenos on a few different substrates to see what emerges.  Both were run with steer manure compost because the Depot has been out of my cheap coir but I'd like to try them on straw, moosepoo,  coir,  etc to see what pops out.  Trying some of the really cubelike one tonight to get an idea of potency vs the nat-like batch that was so wicked potent.

Alaska. How was the trip? Can you describe how it’s different from cubes? Was potency similar to PE?

The gram I took (was 1.2 as I recall) was very strong,  but without any noticeable come up anxiety.  I got visuals for a good while but without any real body load or anxiety,  I could have functioned well in public.  It was fantastic.  Kind of reminded me of mexicana, actually.  Potency seemed roughly equivalent too.  Want to try the cube-like batch tonight and waiting until I go backpacking for a few days to try the aforementioned batch again.

The more reports the better! I'm stoked on the Nats so far, haven't tried them yet, but soon... I'm very curious if the potency/experience will vary across the phenos.

This nat myc bruises a deep blue and they have been recovering from transfers and starting growth in sub 12 hours.
Really tolerant of high temperature, fast growth from all random ms

I can’t wait to see the future nat mutations we discover and stabilize!!!:mindblown:
Time to bust out the UV
BTW: I may have some blob mutations or upside down nat pins in this tub and I’m so stoked :prettyflyforawhiteguy:
