Ok I want to update this thread. The tray has gone pretty well since I last posted. I have started harvesting and many more shrooms on the way.
But now I am a little concerned about the stumps I left behind in the tray as it looks like they are starting to mold or will be in the near future. Did I fuck up?
Should I take some forceps or something and cut them out? Maybe spray some h202? I put them in the sun for a coupe minutes to get a better picture and maybe kill some mold spores.

Let`s assume that`s bruising, and the stumps get cannibalized from myc reforming. I wouldn`t advise to spray H2O2, that`s no cobweb you have.

Ok that is awesome to hear. Mushrooms really are an amazing organism. I ended up cutting the stumps out before I read your reply but good to know for the future though I may switch to the twist and pull method just so I’m not leaving any dead matter behind next time.
Thank you for all your help with this. I keep thinking everything is something bad but it turns out usually it is just the shrooms doing their thing.

Hopefully you didn`t harm your myc network with cutting around in it. You probably made attack points for contam

I hope not. That would be some true irony.

I am going to update this thread again instead of creating a new one.
Today I noticed this bright white patch that stands out from the rest of the mycelium. I am hoping it might just be mycelium but it looks strange and from what I’ve been reading might be trich.
What do you think? Should I toss it?
It doesn’t have a strong smell but smells a little like iron. Like blood almost.

That's trichoderma unfortunately, you can see it's starting to decompose the mushrooms as well.

Thats what I suspected. Thanks for the confirmation.
Was hoping for a third flush but it’s alright. Had 2 great flushes. Over an ounce dry total (still haven’t weighed second flush though) and learned a lot.
Thank you guys for all your help with this. I feel like I have learned enough reading this and other forums to start my own from spores next time.
