Fruit this casing?
    #2733148 - 05/26/04 05:55 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Ok so on saturday afoaf cased 2 pfjars of b+. He has patched them a couple of times since this picture, but what he is wondering is if he should fruit or should he patch everything that you can see in the pic. Also that really big white spot the day after patching always looks like that, it just grow so damn fast, what should he do about it, because he is afraid that spot will kinda overlay? or something.

Also he cant wait to fruit this as he finally found a way to lower his fruiting chamber temps so now he wont have shitty little flushes :P

Patch the more aggressive mycelium in the beginning to give the rest of it a chance to catch up. There should be white popping up evenly over the whole casing, then you can fruit and get a more even flush.

I would patch that stop in the top right corner.
You want the whole thing to look something between the top right corner spot and the other spots with visible growth there right now, but you don't have to patch every little spot.

Good luck

You know, I know patching is what your suppose to do but I pretty much always say fuckit. I haven't patched in so long I can't remember. When my casings look like yours do I just birth em.

Seems to work.
