Pretty sure this is the reality. To think otherwise is to imagine there's an even bigger group of suckers than there was before.

I'm out!

I share the sentiment that I can see BTC take a dive in the shortterm, maybe as low as the $20-24K that Geo called, so I thought it wise to pull out with a slight profit now into euros and keep those on hand to move back into the same positions when they are cheaper.

I'll be buying into:

Cardano ADA
Polkadot DOT
Kusama KSM
Lumen XLM :nicekitty:

Lets stay on the ball guys, we can make a buck here.

Speak your mind about how you see things and new developments.

Cardano looks strong throughout.

Polkadot & Kusama have something very good going on that I think will rock bigtime in the future. If you believe in DOT, grab some KSM on the side.

Stellar Lumen, XLM came through for me before and will again.

If anybody's interested, I've put out the following limit buy orders:

These are Euros mind you, €1 = $1,22 = BTC 0.00003189 right now.

I expect the BTC to get a drop soon, which will take each of these four cryptos at the lowest level they were this week. At this point, my limit buy orders snap into effect and I autobuy positions at that point.

Remembering what I had in Kusama, if that comes to pass my positions are about 20% increased in amount of cryptos.

I think BTC is going to wiggle so I'll probably sell at a modest profit, then rebuy when it sinks yet lower.

Im liking this guys view on it all!
Short interview:

https://www.kitco.com/news/video/show/Market-Analysis/3405/2021-05-24/Bitcoins-cycle-is-coming-to-an-end-heres-the-next-price-cycle--Clem-Chambers#_48_INSTANCE_puYLh9Vd66QY_=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kitco.com%2Fnews%2Fvideo%2Flatest%3Fshow%3DMarket-Analysis

I also expect a choppy market, possibility of some big drops. But im keeping one position open, im staking my FUND(Unification token), in their webwallet while receiving rewards in both FUND and XFUND. Real easy set up, with an APY of about 200%. Which is amazing

Thats a very good interview Tom and I urge everybody to watch it...

..but this time it will not work out this way.

This time, people are not going to eat out of their noses for 2.5 year wairting for Bitcoin to get an urge, I think this time there will be a turn of the market towards Altcoins.

Bitcoin is JUST A CRYPTO.

Like there are SO MANY.

When big money realizes that and starts gravitating away from stagnant BTC, there will be a new boom way before the miners are ready.

This time, altcoins will flourish. Mainstream popularity is coming. Money needs to go somewhere now that we are 25 TRILLION down because of Covid as a world. For many, Crypto will be that haven.

Moonshots. Many many moonshots.

And we got to chime each other in on those moonshots so we can pull a benjamin out of every buck :rainbowcloud:

Was thinking about selling MIOTA at the $2 and I guess it wouldve been a good chance to double up on the position. Think I am long there though. Even if its not really functional ATM and might just end up being shit. Its got a cool logo and thats all a guy like me needs

Sorry...only watched the first few minutes - but enough to get the gist of it.  And I completely disagree.  Will we see ups and downs (and IMHO of lesser magnitude for the most part than recent days) - yep...seems likely.  Will that moderate volatility herald a protracted bear market...No.  The guy has a book to sell and he's making the rounds.  I bet that was sponsored content (i.e. >>HE<< paid for the spot) for the express purpose of self-promotion of his otherwise worthless book.

Don't agree. At all.  If the future proves me wrong, you are free to point to this post and say so and call me a gullible moron.  If it proves me RIGHT, I'm going to gloat and crow, so get ready.  Shall we say December as the month where we decide whose prediction came true and whose didn't??

I'm not like that. Know what I'm like? Tripsurfer hated my guts on the boards so.. I made him rich

What I want is not ME but WE

I WANT FOR ALL OF US TO BE STRONGLY ENRICHED BY OUR ADVENTURE.

I WANT ALL OF US TO COOPERATE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE FOR ALL OF US.

Back in the second half of the 2000s we rode the gold train into riches. Everyone who got on board multiplied their money with next to no effort.

Lets do it much, much better now.

Multiply the money more times over for more shroomerites.

Think of our Covid thread.

Because some of the best of us put all their eggs into one basket we, the Shroomery had WAY better intel than the president. We pre-empted the shopping runs, and those early days we were the people those around turned to for info about the new thing, because we got it right and kept getting it right.  We said A and the president and all the news channels said B and it was A all the way.

This is a thread of great expertise.

Lets actively combine our expertises and hunches, MAXIMALLY, so we can all benefit to the utmost.

The Utmost!

Imagine we could add one or several numbers to our total net worth.

Crypto has that scalability, its a trillion dollar market.

None of us does it better than ALL of us.

Lets make the most of this thread, of the highs and the lows.

Until The Next Best Thing is around this cow is worth milking :cow:

Lets do this!

Asante I'm with you on us all benefitting from this crazy thing called crypto and wish all of you great wealth and prosperity.

One of my most enjoyable and profitable coins has been YFI with a pump and dump strategy. Just look at it's chart over the last year. Big swings with a lot of opportunities for buy low, sell high.

Damn Nature Boy, thats horrible, glad she found someone good for her who treats her the way she deserves now.

Wish them the best.

Eth took a nice run up. Crypto looking decent atm after some recovery.

Personally not sure how sustainable it will be short term and would expect some overhead resistance and some bouncing back and forth up and down, could provide good opportunity to capitalize on swings.

Guess we will see though

Sorry for the inconsistency but for the moment I'm out guys!

It has everything to do with the all time graph of BTC (in euros):

Right now we're at €30-32K BTC

If you look at the first bubble/bust phase of '17-'18 I can see €15K BTC, or in other words Geo's $20K bitcoin happening. I don't think the whales have learned, and it will all caravan after BTC, so in the line of Tom's refuted book guy, yes I can imagine it piddles around a bit around that level before bubbling again.

I think yes, we are seeing bubbles here, and that the sustainable level is probably €15/$20K BTC.

I'm keeping my powder dry for the crash, which so very clear seems in progress. Dspair may be so great, along with exit dumps, maybe we'll see €10/$13K BTC again. Wouldnt that be a great time to buy in? Dunno if it will but all hell will break loose if it suddenly tugged harder south than the projectors project.

I'd hate to be stuck with double/triple price altcoins at that point, for possibly a long wait.

I'm going to see what this does first.

Yah, gotta follow the trends  of the past a little bit right? I would like to sell out right now too, for the most part. Think am not touching BTC ever again still, but the Alts, id love to get out of when it looks like we could be at another small peak and wait for a major slide to buy in again.

Finally bought some crypto a few days ago after watching on and off for years.

Thanks everyone for the advice here, ya'll seem pretty level headed.

I'm a geek at heart so got some ETH and LINK to hold, still very early days for the new tech.

Trying to learn a bit about EMA and RSI to make my own opinion how it plays out, hope to DCA if it goes down.

Kind of sickening the same old FUD and speculation in the media and YouTube.

Ben Cowen on YouTube seems to have a good take, anyone else?

Hats off to you day traders!

ETH has made a nice recovery to moderate levels prior to the last ATH push.

I converted 1 ETH in BTC, as im nearing another full BTC in my portfolio and it helps me gauge where Im easier via a fast glance.

Still weary of where this market is headed short term, so Im not buying anymore for now. Will reconsider my position in 3 to 4 days.

I'm still aiming for sell orders to gain (more) fiat. 2 ETH for sale at 2975. I'll think we'll see a significant pull back at some point.
