Why are my fruits so tiny?
    #27314843 - 05/19/21 09:45 AM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Why are these fruits so small? I was so excited about such a large pin set but it seems they’ve stopped growing and now the caps are starting to open up. What’s the cause of this? PES Amazonian agar to oats to coir/Verm

its not the size of the shrooms but how you use them. im using mine to accelerate the evolution of the squirrels in my neighborhood.

probably genetics. sometimes the second flush has bigger fruits, at least in my experience

I have heard people say to mush moisture in the sub, I really don't know if that is true. I usually chalk it up to genetics in the section of agar you grab and put to oats.

I'm dying man!

You should teach the squirrels agriculture, that will give them a substantial survivability advantage over other competitor species.

I think genetics plays a big role too. I've seen the same culture that I used a lot throw tiny fruits in a sub that I prepped way to wet on accident. However with that same wet ass sub that I prepped I got completely normal fruits from another variety that I was running.  That 2nd picture looks pretty wet to me but I'd say it's a combo IMO. Can't say for certain though.
