Odd Results from Thailand Koh Samui Super Strain Cubensis

Hello!
I grew Thailand Koh Samui Super Strain Cubensis mushrooms from spores using PF tek. I've noticed a lot of blue discoloration on the mycelium. Also, the attached picture shows that both cakes are growing rather different-looking mushrooms. One cake is growing very short and fat mushrooms while the other is growing more regular tall and thin ones. Kinda cool, but just wanted to check that everything seems normal.

Thanks!

any peroxide spray or strong chlorinated water? likely just bruisingyour cakes. or could of been they dried out and bruised. multispore cultures will always produce different looking mushrooms10000s of dif "strains" when use spores..
short fat ones are more of the classic KSSS look and normal. but will see odd normal lookin cube too.

spores have a lot of potential phenotypes, KSSS is one that’s known for having those weird fat UFO looking fruits. as far as i’m aware, most people want those genetics you seem to have on the lower cake. i’d clone if you have the resources for it
as far as the bluing goes, did you handle your cakes at all? did they get too dry? could be a symptom of contamination too but i know for sure handling them can bruise them. also i BELIEVE letting them dry too much can make them bruise as well, but i don’t grow cakes so i would wait for someone with more experience to confirm that. but touching them can deffo cause bruising
edit: lol got swooped on but yeah pretty much what he said too

KSSS does what it wants. I've cloned the fat guys at least 5 times and always get regular KSSS with the occasional tub full of mutants. It looks bruised as well. Did you dunk and roll?

Awesome, thanks for taking a look everyone! I am pretty sure it is just bruising as well at this point. I've been watering them a good amount, and perhaps even too much. I am growing them in the same fruiting chamber as regular Psilocybe B+ Cubensis mushrooms and they haven't had the same bruising issue with a similar amount of watering.
And yeah I dunked and rolled (prob could have done a better job with the verm).
