accidental temp drop

My heater quit on me and my incubation tent went from low 80's to low 40's overnight...The tent had a few almost colonized monotubs and variety of spawn jars (cube and pan) at different stages of growth. This is not an issue I've had with such an extreme temp difference, how much of it is ruined?

Pretty sure low 80s is too high, and your tubs will always be warmer than the room because your sub produces and holds heat. I think 68-77 is reccommended. And if it was just one day your fine, it will just slow the growth for that period of time.

Thanks, I assumed things would slow way down for a while but I wasn't sure what else to expect....the spawn jars have an awful lot of condensation going on.
I realize I should be separating my pans and cubes since pans like higher temps, but I don't have the space since the pans are just sort of an experiment that I can never get to fruit anyway. I've been running this tent with a heater that keeps it at 77-82 without issue for a while, but I'll lower the temps a bit - thanks again for the info.

Might give the jars a shake once things level out

For anyone interested or searching, pretty much everything made it through a night of very cold temps - long enough for the spawn jars to be cold to the touch.
It definitely pointed out which spawn was strongest and which likely would have succumb to contamination or just not bounced back well enough. The jars that were healthy (most of them) took off after I shook them at 25%...the unhealthy jars stalled to the point of becoming a target for bacteria or worse, or were overtaken by cobweb (or something else white-ish that clearly wasn't health mycelium).
The monotubs finished colonizing and look to be starting to fruit without issue. The pan cyan jars that looked best were spawned to bulk and have taken to their casing layer, crossing my fingers that they will fruit.

I timed my cult work with a vacation pretty poorly and had to put 8 monos in the garage. In temps around freezing for 10 days. When I came back all of them looked like the day I had left. Brought them in and they all fruited normally.

10 days at near freezing, now that's resilient mycelium...which I'm just realizing would a cool band name.
