black kings on straw going nice, no set up, just misting in my room.

This is another from the same batch but grown inside a tent, no humidifier, no misting, no air movement (lazy fucker, waiting on the CO2 controller to start moving my ass, stuck for a month in customs already)

Wild reishi clone looking clean! Just took first transfer.

Also, first flush on some lions mane and blue oysters! Would you pick these lions manes or one more day?

Those're real nice, did you flip the bag over and fruit it from the bottom? Another user suggested that method as well in a thread I made about having issues with black kings.
And heh I love when I forget about my black kings for a while and then come back to like 3 solitary huge fruits lol.

Nice crop of Black Kings, not sure what causes the bumpy warts on the caps of these sometimes but i was happy to see these caps were quite smooth

Master Mix block that was inoculated directly with a Mukitake liquid culture,'looks promising so far

Interesting strain this one, some kind of King Blue mutation called Blue Puffball. Lookin forward to growing more of these

Reishi udapte : sgfc:

Mono dubtubed :

Mini mono dubtubed :

And an interesting thing, in the mini mono, some reishi start to produce pores:

I first thought it was because they reached the level of the holes in the second tub

but that doesn't happen in the big mono:

I then realized that it was since I changed the orientation pattern. Since I dubtubed this culture, I rotate the substrate 180° every 7-10 days (I have no lighting, they are near a window without direct sun). But for about 3 weeks I wanted to try making them spiral by turning them 90° every 3-4 days. I think this generated stress which pushed them to make pores. To be continued...

Your lion's mane looks great! What conditions are you growing in? I'm having trouble getting mine to present with such long, stringy teeth. Here's my first harvest of Pathfinder white oyster. I let it overgrow just a bit as I was curious. The thick stems are pretty meaty and have a nice light taste.

I've got a grow tent with a humidifier and a exhaust fan. Still dialing it in, I think I might need more light in it or something. some of the oysters are coming in a bit skinny

Since it's dubtubed, I put a little water in the tub and mist it once or twice a week.

Nice start! I can’t wait to see the growth. Do all 3 like the same temperature? I would like to find a variety able of growing properly around 18-19°C, anyone have any ideas?
Pix tax:
5 Wild Reishi found yesterday in the forest, on the way to water agar after a short H2O2 bath

Nice! Forest in what country? And is water agar your typical way to go for wild clones? I cloned a recent wild reishi too, but I just wiped it down with alcohol and took a tissue culture to regular agar.
Yeah I have my whole room at one temperature, it's been roughly 73-78F

A forest in France. I also clean with alcohol and quickly soak the sample in H2O2. I inoculate 2 water agar and 1 regular agar per specimen. It takes longer on water agar but this is to ensure success (I tell myself that H2O2 is perhaps too much because you get there without...) I've also been planning to try germinating Reishi's spores since I came across this paper. Besides, if you manage to make a print of your black reishi, I would be delighted to make a trade
