Mushroom love said: Are you waiting for the start of fruiting in the bag or does it start when the bag is cut in the Martha? Do you have a pic of the pins? It makes me want to pull out an old liquid culture from the fridge. Thank you for all the information.
They grow up the side of the bag in large clumps. Once you see them start to form fingers is when it's time to fruit.

I work without SAB or LFH, just with a Bunsen burner (for agar, grain and liquid culture)

I'm spawning 6 jars of millet into 5lb fruiting blocks today. I follow the standard supplemented HWFP recipe.. 5c HWFP, 1 1/4c wheat bran, 1400ml water. PCd for 2.5 hours at 15psi in 8in unicorn bags. I'm jumping back in after taking a year off. I bought 3 different oyster cultures from Mycelium Emporium; King Blue, Blue oyster and Branched oyster. A couple jars have some really ropey mycelium for oysters

Transferring some puffball mycelium from the base of a nice cluster I'd let colonize some cardboard in a zip. Accidentally tossed my last cultures so excited to try this again...

We've had some summer time weather, humidity dipped while initiating pins, only one pin formed. Luckily it grew normally.
Yes black pearl. Wtf do I do with it

Reishi udapte Sgfc:

Monotub (dub tub now):

Contaminated monotub:

Mini mono (dub tub now). You can clearly see the color change (disappearance of the "yellow powder") since I dub tub it:

Reishi is looking good
Right before harvest. Blues struggling with the co2, need to upgrade the exhaust and use a humidifier with more discs.
