I have some slightly wet grains, which I've already fixed that issue for future grain jars, but Pink Oyster doesn't seem to mind at all thankfully.

Cross post with the discussion thread but an update on the SGFC lions mane grow in a 110 litre tub, little spongy on top but possibly due to my fuck up, still very happy with the progress

Whaaaat!!? š± Ok, questions: why does that appear to be 1 fruit? Cos if thatās 1 fruit Iām gonna need detailed descriptions of your methods, and you didnāt actually grow in a tub did you? The more I look at those pics the more questions I have
Edit: just checked your other post, thatās amazing man! I actually looked for a process like this originally and couldnāt find anything, love it!

Worked damn well! How was harvesting?
Hereās the final result of my first grow, which, tbh given it was grown in a SGFC with minimum effort Iām pretty happy with family enjoyed it for dinner which was an even bigger win and the rest got powdered for my elderly mum š Now Iāve just gotta save towards a tent and all that entails.

Iām the one with memory issues (smoked weed nonstop from age 9-28 do not recommend) she suffers from anxiety, so 2 birds 1 stone so to speak. 3 if you count feeding the family.

Siiiiick! Bag with holes maybe? Know how you feel, Iāve got a precarious stack of tubs with the SGFC balanced on top of it all on 2 pieces of 2x4

Doing some gardening and found this little guy yesterday. Shrieked with delight and ran it insider plopped it onto a cordyceps dish, not really having a plan. This morning it had gone to town and eaten quite a bit of the culture. I figured the exposed agar would go south soon, so transfered it to a jar with some radish, dandelion and grape leaves. I know cordyceps are an animorph. Not sure if the agar culture would bthee soil dweller or the bug dweller. Or if it matters. So I'm gonna do a science, let it ride out and see if the little guy got infected by crawling around in/eating the mycelium.

I havenāt heard any good results with feeding the mycelium to larval state, but fingers crossed lol. Iām injecting LC directly into pupae. I want to mix some colonized grains with coir, then have some hornworm caterpillars burry themselves in it to pupate and see if they get infected that way.
I have roughly 10 hornworms pupating in this shoebox

A batch I did last year but didnāt get to finish fruiting due to temp issues.

That's awesome, I'm at about week 5 with my first broth jars, so this was kinda spontaneous. Now you have me thinking, I don't really know what I have, or it's lifecycle. I'm Enjoying learning from your project!

Those are going to divided up and get injected with 2-3 different cultures. I have jars of broth/rice rounding 3wks currently, only just starting to see āpinningā I think. I have a mini fridge to modify so I can keep it going through the summer this year. Those worms should have all pupated by now, and I just ran new LC jars through the PC last night. Iām going to start up the next batches tonight.
