First Martha tent is up. Still need to mod my humidifier to 1 1'2" PVC but it's working like this for now. Hopefully the LM will like it better than they liked the EZ Dial Have a small fan in bottom blowing across the drip area to provide circulation and help keep humidity up by evaporating any pooling water. Exhaust fan runs 1 min every 10 for FAE.

Holes worry free add a layer of duct tape to both sides of the plastic facing each other (duct tape marth sandwich) slice through center soft styrofoam over duct tape. Not the stuff that will flake away. Duct tape around all edges of styrofoam. Cut holes smaller than the size you need and birth dem wires.

For sure. I have seen logs with close to a dozen visible species growing off them, same thing. If I was aiming for a fair fight I would have used a closer to equal spawn ratio or layered spawn differently. Makes you wonder how many species one can have living together in a mixed culture master pint.

I've been doing 20% WBS flour in my sawdust blocks lately.
This is LC direct to supplemented sawdust, 3lb block. The fruit is nothing special, but it's probably only half done by my guesstimate.

How many people like doing LC to supplemented sawdust instead of inoculating with grain?
I prefer not needing to open the bag since I'm still using a SAB, and skipping the grain step is nice so I can use grain for actives.
I'm also doing super easy species - golden oyster, blue oyster, and Lion's mane.

I cloned a big cap for fun and spread it through several bags with grain and it’s pretty fierce. It took a bit over a week to colonize the bag and about 4 days to show these pins. Hopefully the fruit will turn out nice but it’s fun waiting for the outcome.

Thanks, Yes I did not have Marta setup for the moment, but will go this way soon, I had lots of trouble with bad FAE, my fractal Oyster was another good example of how FAE is important, especially for gourmet.

First time trying reishi. Took forever to clean this wedge up and I'm just shocked I even got this so far. Doing a couple bags too but they're just being spawned now.
